I'll be reviewing all the Payday 2 DLC on a x/5 scale in relation to the weapons and heists available as of 2020.


Falcon Rifle: 3/5 To put it simply, it's good. Essentially a more-moddable Eagle with mostly identical stats, it's a good fit for any loud build you care to mention. But what about dodge? Or crit? Or even stealth? Here, things get complicated.
All of the unique mods for the Falcon are locked behind achievements. Most of these are fairly easy. But the modifications that allow you you spec this rifle for concealment will make my fellow loud-only players fall to their knees. One requires completing Big Bank in stealth; not bad. Doable in a handful of tries and with some research. But Entrapment. Dear god, Entrapment. After 5 years, dozens upon dozens of tries, and hours of my life wasted, I cannot call the CQB Barrel residing within my inventory worth the pain I have suffered. But if you are insane enough to do what I have done, bump the rating up to 4/5. You've earned it.


The Big Bank: 5/5 The. Big. Bank. The debut of the Dentist and Preplanning could not have gone better. It's the best bank heist in the game, and certainly still the largest. The assets and escape plans add a multiplicative layer of replayability on top of the randomized vault locations. The payout is also very nice; if you crack all the deposit boxes and grab every bag, this is one of the best single-day heists in terms of loot. Overall this is still one of my favorite jobs in the game. Five years of play and it's still a fun classic.

Two bucks; a good gun and fantastic heist per dollar. It's well worth it.
