Despite a lot of the community being toxic and sweating their nuts off on either side (killer or survivor), this game still slaps pretty hard. Learning curve is kinda rough, especially if you're not used to asymmetrical game styles. Also, nothing really hits the spot like killing a survivor that's been a royal pain in the ass all match.

Overall 8/10, would kill again.

It's been about five years since I played through this game, and man is it a ride. It lures you in with some of it funny moments, showcased by a friend or YouTube video. By the time you've started bonding with the main character or any of the surrounding characters, it's already too late. This game will emotionally drag you through the deepest, coldest mud imaginable if you let it. The humor is dark, and it mixes well with some of the more tragic undertones of the game. If you're looking for something to rip out your soul in the funniest way possible, this is it.
Best $10 I've ever spent on Steam.

This game is absolutely fantastic, or it would be, if it had a large enough playerbase for matchmaking to give you fair games. It's incredibly tiresome to be headshot for the 5th game in a row by prestige 10+ sweat lords who seem to play exclusively Hunt: Showdown when me and my friends are still working on reaching bloodline 100.
If you have the time and patience to sink into this game, then by all means go for it, but realize that the reward is only to be able to contest the players who do nothing but play this game all day long.
On an unrelated note, the maps are beautiful and well crafted with graphics to match.

Really have enjoyed playing this game. Undermine is the first rogue-like I've played and its made me want to explore the genre more. Hitting things is very fun and feels good, also the screen shaking is fantastically well done. Difficult until you learn all of the enemies' patterns, then it's a cakewalk until you decide to try for some of the achievements. *cough* key/bomb hoarder *cough*

Definitely worth the money!
