After the rather ominous trailers, I couldn't resist checking this out. While the main game isn’t out yet, they released a mini-game set in its universe — basically a “taste” of what’s to come. It was a clicker game where you hatch an egg by clicking, and once it hatched, the animal would auto-click for you. Overall, it was a cute mini-game and left me interested enough to learn more about the project.

I dug deeper, checked out their website, and started getting a bit more excited... until I found the devlogs on YouTube. The first video started with the dev (or CEO, who cares?) puffing themself up for far too long, so I skipped ahead. Once they finally got to talking about the game, I was genuinely interested — particularly when they mentioned Ready Player One as one of the inspirations.

This, however, was short-lived.

I didn’t even make it halfway through the video before things took a sharp right turn. The developer flat-out stated that the game will only have two genders, and if you don’t like it, they don’t care because it’s their world (they literally named the game after themselves and plastered their own likeness all over the promo material — talk about a vanity project). Frankly, I appreciate the candor, but not only was this an unnecessary detail to point out, it also screams “no inclusivity here” and makes it painfully obvious that the character creator is going to be a joke. Expect gender-locked clothing, hairstyles, and customization options — because why bother creating a world where people can do or be anything they want, like your so-called "inspiration", when you can shove everyone into a one-dimensional box to suit your own narrative.

It’s crystal clear what kind of community this game is aiming to foster, and I won’t be recommending it to anyone, never mind my queer peers. This is not a safe space, and I’m not going to support a developer with this attitude. HARD PASS.

Cute + fun = win

I was fortunate enough to back this incredibly adorable, cozy game on Kickstarter, and even had the privilege of participating in the alpha. While I didn't take part as much as I would have liked, watching the solo developer work tirelessly with backers (around the clock) to bring this charming indie game to life was so damn wholesome! :D

10/10, no notes tbh

While there are a few rough edges, this game is beautiful, engaging and I'm having a great time playing it!

I absolutely loved this game. It’s exactly what I needed to stimulate the last few brain cells I have left.

Only finished the first level so far, but i have to say not only is this game really beautiful to look at, but its actually quite fun! I can see myself aiming to 100% this game, so yeah, you should totally get it!

10/10, hands down one of the best games i have played in a hot minute.

While not a super long game, it is cute and i had a lot of fun completing it :D

While a little short, this was a relaxing game with a super cute art style. If you enjoy city builders (or in this case street builder), cozy games and/or cats? You'll probably really like this!
