The only thing that seems early access about this game is menu font. It's feels really good to play and it has that rougelike addictive loop that hooks you, with the DRG elements we all love. It is more challenging than what I imagined but that just makes me want to play it even more. If you like rougelikes and DRG this is exactly what you imagine and perhaps more. In just a few runs I've played I'm loving it.

This game is a diamond in the rough.
Let me be clear, at this point in time on early access release day, there are MANY things that need to be worked on.
Though I haven't encountered any game breaking bugs, I know there are many present for other people.
Changes to optimization and quality of life can really make this game shine as it should.
With all it's flaws at the moment it is Stillman incredibly fun game, it feels more naturalaand immersive than the prequel. And small details give you a sense of accomplishment and awe.
I look forward to how it develops and improves with time. I'm happy to be part of the early access project.

there are few games that hit that dopamine spot in your brain as often as Ultrakill does. it's one of those games that yes, it's challenging, but its incredibly rewarding when you do things right. when you look cool playing this game, you are playing correctly and the game rewards you for doing so. there's literally style points added for how fancy your mindless killing is. movement, gunplay and a bunch of other things mix perfectly together in this game.
