okay, i don't write reviews for games. but, in my short 20 hours with this single game, i feel as if my entire life moving forward has a new context. and this is not hyperbole.

i beg you, if you or a loved one have ever suffered from depression, and are in a mentally well enough state to deal with intense atmospheric horror, please try this game. the tale of overcoming one's own demons in this game is one that can not go ignored.

thank you to sebs, the person who bought me this game and allowed me to experience a modern masterpiece.

I have played this game on both Playstation 3 and PC. Most of my experiences come from my PS3 days back in 2012-2015. That was when this game was in it's prime.

But alas, how the mighty have fallen.

With a group of friends, this game's chaotic nature can be absolutely phenomenal. The story is a comedic take on corporate enterprises taking over, with a very love-to-hate villain. There are days worth of sidequests, and you'll constantly be switching out gear for new guns.

That's something else that needs to be mentioned, the guns. The gun system in this game is one of a kind. There are thousands upon thousands of variations for each kind of gun. If you plan on farming a type of gun with the very specific parts you want, you're in for a world of hurt. This said, playing the game without focusing on gun parts allow for this game's gun system to flourish, allowing casuals and vets alike to appreciate any gun they get above blue quality.

As for the characters, each one feels unique and each one can take you to endgame, aka, level 72 and all 8 OP levels. Except Axton. The rest of the characters have their own unique abilities and builds that make it feel two people playing the same character could have drastically different powers and abilities.

Due to all this, all these factors help players replay this game 4-6 times on the same character, which is expected of any player who wants to take their character to OP level 8.

However, as I stated at the very beginning, this game has fallen. There were days when you could log in and find hundreds of random public lobbies. Nowadays, you're lucky to find one. This game feels amazing and replayable when with friends, having fun causing mayhem out in the Borderlands. However, by yourself, this game will most likely suffice one up to about one to two playthroughs.

I HEAVILY reccomend this game to anyone who has a group of 2-3 friends who are down to play this game to at least level 50 and fight a raid boss or two.

However, by yourself, this game is painfully mediocre. It's not bad solo, but it's not the best thing ever either.

Play. This. Game. Blind. Do not read these reviews, just know that his game is a surprisingly fun game. As someone who usually despises visual novels, I loved this one.

As an Elder Scrolls game, this flops. There's no doubts about that. This game feels like a very watered downSkyrim, with worse graphics and worse gameplay.

However:

This game shines as an MMO. It's much more immersive and interesting than all the WoW clones out there nowadays. That's why I reccomend this game. If you're looking for a new, unique MMO, here it is. Just don't buy it full price (it's not worth 40$ imo, so go for the 60-75% off deals).

Before Release:

* Player could buy all the classes with coins.
* Was possible to play for free.
* Creativity and freedom ran rampant throughout the game.

Post Realease:

* Pay To Win.

-1/10 please chop ♥♥♥♥ off.

Edit:

It's been some time since my initial review. I still don't recommend this game in it's current state. The game still has very strong pay to win aspects in the fact some items take months of grinding if you don't pay for them with money.

HOWEVER, I must say the game still has potential. New devs realize that pay-to-win aspects are ruining the game and they're making changes in order to fix this. New updates are introducing further content that is genuinely free.

If you can withstand literal months of grinding in order to reach endgame, go for this game. However, if you're looking for something fast-paced and for an easy grind, this game isn't for you. Go for something like Warframe or Black Desert Online, games that offer more for relatively lower prices.
