Tangle Tower is all about spending a few hours with charming characters as you solve a murder. Exploring the tower and gathering clues is satisfying, although one key twist at the end is hard to swallow. The characters also have very similar names so it's needlessly difficult to keep track of how everyone's related to each other (it's hard to understand why info you learn about characters isn't added directly to the family tree you find early on). But by far the game's greatest weakness is the dozen or so puzzles, some of which are shockingly bad. The first "puzzle" literally involves copying the solution, which is written on the back of the puzzle. And I still have no idea how the paintbrush puzzle was supposed to make sense, and the other puzzles are so bad I don't care and don't feel bad for looking up the solution. Most of the puzzles just feel tacked on so it can advertised as a puzzle game. And to be clear, I like puzzles! I enjoyed the Professor Layton games but these puzzles are mostly TRASH.

Tangle Tower connects with the previous game (the first DG is an old Flash game with no voice acting and ugly art that probably isn't worth the trouble of getting Flash working to play) but if you want to play the best game to see if the triology is worth your time, Tangle Tower is definitely it. (Grimoire's sidekick Sally is from the previous game, but she's effectively a different character now with the same name). TT feels more fleshed out than Secret of the Swamp, particularly how every character has a unique comment for every clue you present to them instead of hearing "I don't care about that" for most items.

You might prefer to play this on your iPhone or Switch (it's not on Android) but you should play it.

I love me some turn-based games with bad graphics. The Prince of Persia tactics/card game on DS that no one remembers? Liked it. That Rebelstar Tactical Command GBA game by the creator of X-Com? Played through it at least three times. But this is just bad.

Very fun. I was suspicious of the game for having auto-attacks, but choosing how to power up and move through the growing hordes of enemies will keep your attention.

Probably best to put this behind a spoiler tag This game is like Doki Doki Literature Club but without the clever fourth wall breaks or jumpscares. I skipped through most of the game so feel free to disregard my review based on that, but I read enough of the game to tell that it's not for me. There's too much stilted writing, too much "anime ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, with their hands on their hips". The art style is kind of bland and overuses shaking the girls up and down to indicate movement.
It would be nice if there had been some mini-games especially since they'd fit so well with trying to survive a dating sim death game, but no it's all just response choices including mind-numbing choices of which compliment to use.
Also no H patch or even lewd scenes. (But the creator's next game has a MUCH lewder logo so here's hoping?)

Technically, this DLC doesn't remove the censorship mosaic. If you haven't "played" Super Naughty Maid 2, it's just pre-rendered videos of ♥♥♥ scenes - you can't move the camera or otherwise change the scene. If you activate this DLC, Steam downloads 1.7 gigs worth of replacement video files without censorship mosaics so you can see what they were hiding. Unfortunately the scenes were designed with Japanese censorship in mind, so things look a little wrong without it. In particular in a paizuri (tit♥♥♥♥) scene the maid's breasts clip into your character's ♥♥♥♥♥ and you can actually see boob in the urethra hole of the ♥♥♥♥♥.

So if you decide you want all that hidden again you should deactivate this DLC, which will cause Steam to download the original video files again. (You can't switch on the fly).

basic platformer

Alternate pistols are fun if you're messing around on low difficulty, but having to give up your perk slot to use one is awful.

Helldivers is an old game. You can (and should) get all the DLC for $5 if you're still playing Helldivers. But if you're considering individual Helldivers DLCs now (6+ years after they came out) then this is one you could skip. The weapon is BAD, and the mech is worse than the free mech that comes with the game (except for Illuminates).

It's as bad as it looks.
