Game has improved even more since release, the class update has made it a lot more fun to play higher difficulty content. Build variation is great.

Overall the game was pretty lacklustre, story felt odd in places. Launch bugs were as expected, hopefully patches will make the game a hell of a lot more stable. You should really just hold off on the game till a sale happens. Maybe DLC's will make the game feel a bit more whole in terms of content. Also no NG+ kind of sucks.

(Plus there's eight years worth of awful "funny" references)

A good game with a sometimes very funny community depending on the server you're in. However there is a lot of bugs that can ruin your ability to play sometimes.
