Sony has pulled it's head from it's behind and bent the knee.

Be aware: this game has A LOT of bugs, balance issues and half baked content. However, the core gameplay loop is incredibly fun and is enough to still recommend it despite the flaws.
Live service part is done fairly well with premium currency being obtainable through gameplay without having to endlessly grind.

Absolutely essential for any multimonitor user.

Crazy flexibility and customizability as well as providing multiple features that should have been natively integrated into windows years ago. Been using it for years and cannot recommend it enough.

Good story and character development, even if a bit hard to follow at times. Great visual design. Extremely satisfying combat and the BGM slaps. Fairly decent dubbing too.
Runs well, looks good. Controller required, KBM controls suck major ass but that's to be expected with jRPGs.

Complaints:hallway structure of levels does get a bit annoying after a while, UI and its controls can be confusing at times. Personally I felt like the difficulty wasn't really balanced either, on normal you can breeze through everything that's not a boss without any trouble while hard turns enemies into bullet sponges that hit like a truck full of bricks.

The pros definitely overshadow the cons and all in all, it's a really nice breath of fresh air in the sea of ♥♥♥♥ that current is AAA releases.

I wanted to like this game. I really did.
The concept is great - on paper. The execution is lazy and just not that fun.

I like a good challenge. I've been playing games on hardest difficulty, taking my time figuring out the best strategies, grinding my stats or simply bashing my head against a wall until it finally clicked.
None of this is here. The devs just said "haha ♥♥♥♥ you" and designed the gameplay in a way that isn't challenging but fun, no.
Instead it's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ difficulty for the sake of it.

Enemies that can hit you around corners AND outrun you? Check.
Enemies being able to hit you even after being decapitated requiring another few shots to put down? Check.
Limited resources with level design forcing you into using them whether you want or not? Check.
RNG spawns able to ♥♥♥♥ you over and requiring several mission restarts to get a good seed? Check.
Annoying gameplay mechanics such as 1 player unable to do anything else but to be a carry mule for the fog turbine? Check.
Enemies not challenging enough? ♥♥♥♥ it, make them invisible, that'll show them.

The basic gameplay loop of red light-green light gets stale really quick. Combine that with level design that's basically a gauntlet challenge made out of the same recycled rooms, placed and connected seemingly randomly and you get gameplay that feels more like a chore than anything with the best approach being completely ommiting the stealth factor and just bunny hopping everywhere killing enemies before they have a chance to attack.

Real shame because this game could've been so much more.

Best co-op shooter currently on the market.
Ongoing support, fair pricing with no MTX, good gameplay loop with plenty of replay value and lots of content to unlock.

It's a good game but multiplayer is nigh unplayable due to being populated almost entirely with dumb ♥♥♥♥♥ and griefers. Real shame.

Do not buy if you expect something more than just a casual slaughterfest.

Balance is out of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ window, spawning system is pure unfiltered ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the mechanics are beyond autistic.
Also TWI insists on keeping RNG in the game.
