I love the paper-cutout graphical style and whimsical presentation, like a popup book from the mind of Tim Burton. The gothic-inspired look makes even the most amiable shrubbery seem threatening, the visuals are accompanied by a carnivalesque soundtrack that is immediately catchy and the atmosphere of a child's storybook gone awry is aided by a novelesque menu system and comically blunt bits of story.

It's a nice change from the classic hero wins story; this game is difficult, it's designed so you fail. It's a nice reminder that you can have the best team and the strongest players, you can have the rarest items and be well prepared but still lose,
The game design is amazing, and the fact that you really have to watch and care for your characters creates a special bond and they mean more to the player.
Successful quests feel so much better, like it's actually an accomplishment.
It's definitely worth purchasing if you enjoy a challenge.
