I'll preface this review with current PC specs as I'm sure many will want to know if their lower tier system will run the game adequately:
AMD FX 8320 (stock speeds, OC was causing BSOD with this title)
16 DDR3
GTX 1060 6GB
120 GB SSD

For the majority of sections I spend time in, I'm getting a solid 50 - 65 FPS. The areas that I run into the most trouble are when there is a lot to render, dungeons and the majority of the game is not this way. Overall, the experience is fine, and the game is absolutely beautiful.

Onto the game. I came from beating Sekiro and was expecting similar combat and initially was disappointed. Overall, the controls, movement, and combat feels slightly sluggish and not nearly as precise as found in Souls games. I'm about 10 hours in and still don't have the parry down, it just doesn't hasn't clicked and there aren't any audio/visual cues to inform you that you're doing it correctly other than getting a successful parry. With these gripes aside, playing the game and enjoying it as it's created has given me mad respect for the developers.

The worlds you explore are packed with loot, (most of them inconsequential, cosmetic items mostly) and plenty of shortcuts you'll unlock and secrets you'll discover. The enemies vary widely, and the lore is abundant everywhere you look (at times, a little too much for my taste). The story is solid and driven, and the cut scenes are welcome. There is plenty of diversity within the gameplay itself too.

The movement, similarly to the combat, feels slightly sluggish and delayed no matter how many frames I'm getting. Regardless, it is a blast to begin to run, jump, and squeeze your way throughout the game. I recommend for Star Wars fans, adventure game fans, and even Souls fans, (although, don't think you're getting Souls with a Star Wars skin).

Stripped down Dark Souls with a revamped combat system. Additionally the stealth mechanics in this game work amazingly well, and each situation can be approached in many different ways.

Highly recommended. This game is everything I hoped it would be, and more!

Game is great. The amount of care put into the development of this game is easily noticed as soon as you start playing. All of the interactions with other characters - there are countless - are crafted with excellent dialogue. The gameplay is smooth and is simply fun to play. If you're a fan of open world games, play this. If you're fan of deep story and rich characters, play this. If you play video games, play this.

I gave my money to Dark Souls, and I have yet to regret it. Dark Souls I bow to thee.

DS2 is a bit of a spin-off, setting it apart from DS1/3. The game play is slightly different, combat is more sluggish and everything moves a bit slower. The layouts of the levels are incoherent and relatively straight forward.

I've played and beaten DS1, DS2, DS3, Sekiro, and Bloodborne. While the games other than DS2 are stronger, DS2 is still a great experience! There is something about the environment and straightforward design that makes it desirable. It does feel like a break from the horrors found in Bloodborne or Sekiro. This game is much easier and can be played through like a breeze once you've mastered any of the other Souls-Borne games.

Highly recommended if you want a fresh experience. I recommend the Scholar of First Sin. Graphics are improved greatly, the game runs like a dream, and all of the awesome DLC is included.

Dark Souls Prepare to Die had very memorable moments, and I found myself eager to venture forth into it's brilliant lore, expansive world, and awesome bosses.

Difficulty is something that you must deal with, and it can become troubling, but once you figure out most of the mechanics, and get an idea of what you should be doing, and how you should be doing it, the difficulty becomes more of background noise. The game will remind you to not play sloppily however, every enemy in the game is capable of killing you, no matter your level or gear.

Upon dying, enemes become more difficult.

The game looks beautiful, and it assists the game in creating certain atmospheres. There are beautiful vistas to gawk at, and incredible bosses.

This game isn't to be taken lightly, in other words, you must get a handle on the mechanics to fully embrace it's experience. Highly recommended to those of you that enjoy RPG's, Action, Fantasy, or even Sci-Fi games.

CS:GO Review
Counter-Strike oh Counter-Strike... how you've been such a tremendous source of entertainment for 10+ years. Counter-Strike Global Offensive is vastly different than any of the other versions before it. Being based upon the Source engine, movement and physics are relatively similar, but when it comes to weapon handling, and map layouts there is a lot to learn when you pick it up.

This game isn't what you'd expect from a new First Person Shooter. There is no aiming down sights, or cooking your grenades, or even a single player campaign. It's entirely aimed towards multiplayer, and it does multiplayer better than I've seen any other FPS that attempts to enter to the world of competitve online shooters. In this version of CS, the economic meta-game is ironed out, leaving players with contimplation as they enter another round. Weapons have been severely tweaked, so there are far more resources at your disposal, rather than being completely dependent on an AWP, AK, or the M4.

The game runs perfectly, as you'd expect. With a GTX 660, 16GB's or RAM, and an FX 8320 I'm consistently getting 225+ FPS. There is now a market within the game, which acts as a money pool being swirled around the Counter-Strike world. Weapon camo's are huge, and players trade for them, purchase them, or even earn them via playing the game. At first I thought it was gimmicky, but as you play, the weapon camo sort of adds a layer of value to your player.

Overall, there isn't anything to complain about. The gameplay is absolutely smooth, client side and server side. Mostly you'll be playing 64 tick servers, which at times leave something to be desired, but overall does the trick well. There are some servers however that run at a whopping 128 tick rate which registers almost every shot with extreme precision. If you're coming to this game from another FPS, you'll be stunned at how accurate the hit registration is.

Sound is another huge element of this game, and although in that department there are definitely areas of improvement, it does the trick. The sound is entirely linear, so if there are multiple levels within a map, you'll not be able to identify by footsteps, if your foe is above you or on the same level.

At $16 dollars, you'd be stupid to pass this game up. There are hardly any other shooters that have had this much time to develop, and evolve. The community is huge, and if you do decide to pick this game up as a noob, make sure to watch a few videos to get the hang of the mechanics. I'd recommend going to YouTube and checking out WarOwl.

See you at Banana.

Absolutely fun. This game has to be terrible underrated as I've yet to see anyone talk about in the gaming community. There are no streams, barely any YouTube content. The score is brilliant, the game is huge in scope and the physics are fantastic!

For an Indie game, I don't expect this much, but it was definitely delivered. It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dollar right now, so if you don't have it, gather your pennies and please purchase it. Great game.
