So.... sorry to those who'd been on from about 6 am to 1:20 today... Had been working on the Universe Sandbox 'launch game 100,1000,10000 times!' achievment knocked out the 1000 and a bit over it (Not sure exactly how many times) The reason I say sorry is... the fact that it'd pop up in your games ... a lot of times, had not crossed my mind! OOPS!

I'd give a number of game selling sites a glance before buying right from steam (You can find sales fairly often for a copy of the game a bit cheaper) Blood eagle if you can afford it otherwise just normal copy and you can upgrade later at no extra cost(at present, price for that upgrade might go up once released)

Loving it so far (my little brother and a buddy of mine play it too) If you've seen/played War of the Roses it is similiar to that, but much more fast paced.

As for historically accurate gear and weapons. It is fairly accurate actually! You can look at the in game sword, axe, bow, etc. and take its name, google it and find an actual version (either in myth/legend for names, or in museums for weapons/helmets)

AND THERE ARE NO HISTORICAL RECORDS of the horned helmet that has become a part of the stereotype viking.

The game is in early access(Beta) but is entirely playable (recent server changes do lead to a server crash now and again, but just hop in another and get back to playing)

Plans for microtransactions, but only for coins (default currency obtained through normal play) and would in no way be pay to win. (Coins are spent on vanity, be it weapon skin, helmets, etc.)

So whats that WAr of the Vikings thing about? Any gewd? Can I gore people with my pointy and not entirely historically accurate viking helmet?
