Added saves for shorter gaming sessions and shop variety seems to have improved. Buying on Switch asap.

Practice duels leave you helpless after first turn by the second section. Not a fun intro to retain players.

Do all revolutionary missions, never get independence option, end game, not fun.

Changing to recommended with Immortal Empires. It's not flawless but still a spectacular strategy gaming achievement and I expect to try all 80+ lords eventually.

Launch review:
Survival battles are fun but campaign is not. I do not enjoy being forced into the souls race and receiving negative traits instead of empire building and this will prevent me from fully experiencing more than 2 or 3 factions before immortal empires comes out. Hearing about the lack of response to early access players is discouraging as well. Will recommend when campaign and bug fixes come out.

Hard to play any other strategy games.

I can't shoot anything and enjoy this game. Watch a video about garrison strategy, try to avoid being seen, and ask your squad leader what they would like to do. Suppression mechanic is great so spray and pray is a valid tactic as long as you're pointing in the right direction.

Hard to enjoy questing when there are only 2 types of quests and gathering and crafting when the economy keeps getting more broken by bugs. I planned a grand return to MMOs based on advertisement but can't enjoy it with the world constantly blowing up around me. Will try to play again next year.

Relaxing, thoughtful pickup and play puzzler for $5. Enjoy every part of it.
