10月23日，美国加州，育碧起诉MizuSoft出售和服务作弊项目，这些项目能增加武器伤害，扩展玩家的视野，显示看不到的敌人等等。

育碧称外挂制作者，包括网站拥有者J.V.L在内（尽管他是未成年人），侵犯了版权，贩卖规避设备，怂恿《彩虹六号：围攻》玩家触犯该作的用户使用挑款和准则。

MizuSoft称自己是“领先的外挂供应商，专注提供强力、方便用户使用的软件”。在其网站上MizuSoft还说有从未被检测到的干净记录，“完全不会被发现”，不会让玩家的账号被封。该网站出售的《彩虹六号》外挂产品叫“Budget Edition Rainbow Six Siege Cheat”，采用订阅制收费：每天13美元或每月77美元。

育碧称MizuSoft的外挂已经被《彩虹六号：围攻》玩家下载和使用了“数千次”，每月为该网站带来数千美元的收入。育碧还表示他们已经投入了“大量的金钱和时间”来补救作弊软件带来的伤害。

在诉状中，育碧还列出了其他10名被告，大部分都是以他们的Discord名字起诉，据诉状育碧仅知道网站所有人的名字。

育碧请求法庭判处最严重判决：每个侵权赔偿25000美元，而且停止运营。
