Good game. Like the Graphics Style, the story surprised me at first and I'm trying hard to become fluent in owowo uwu! Gwetting there! The only negative thing I have to say is that I didn't like the bad ending because it is so overused. Anyways, liked it, good job! (I found but didn't understand the purpose of the easter egg - it is a crime you didn't gave the cube physics I wanted to push it soo badly into space)

Nice Game! I liked the puzzles (even tho the second one got me struggling for some minutes), the artstyle is very cute and well made, the storyline and overall composition of everything works well for the short game. I liked the Challenge at the end that wrapped everything up, but I feel like it could have been a bit longer with more input and Dialogue or smth and the mechanic of the Enemy showing up is stressful which is good of course but I found a way around it, so after the first puzzle I was left with only the story and the puzzles. If you are in a Dialogue the monster won't come.

Such a good game! Loved the dialogues and the little interactions in between! It's well written, looks very cute and the voice acting was spot on!
(Also, I have questions about the duck in the foyer!..ಠ_ಠ)

I would recommend this game to anyone who is down for a relatively easy coop game with not too much in-depth gameplay and twists. It seems to be made for a wide range of players so even people who normally don't play videogames can follow easily. At the same time as a more experienced player, you shouldn't have too many expectations. The Story is very good and touching if you manage to feel connected to your characters and their actions. The focus is more on a movie-like telling than quality gameplay mechanics.

My personal summary
★★★☆☆

Game's Goal
The games focus is the teamplay of the two main characters, while not overly challenging the two players. It has a movie-like feel and aims to tell a story while allowing players to partially anticipate and explore the scenes.

Story
The Story is the main motivation of this game. It is a good story but the twist wasn't too surprising for me. It is pretty clear where the journey is going and the narrating ranges from good to mediocre (why is explained below).

Gameplay/Game Mechanics
You have many partner-based actions to complete, but they lack variety. Predictable quick time events are sometimes too easy and slow to be truly engaging. The inclusion of shooting adds a fresh element. The different environments added some variety and I liked the scenes very much. However, as a person who plays videogames all her life, the mechanics felt limited and simplistic, and the repetitive situations hindered my connection to the actions.

Grafics/Animations/Details
The sounds complement the cutscenes and environment very well. I enjoyed the environment and the changes of places, but I felt a lack of details and love in the game. The rapid changes in environments and situations contribute to this feeling.

Price fairness
If played locally or with a friend pass, the price is extremely fair. If you both buy the game and play online, it still has a normal price for a game of this quality. It is well polished and has no bugs. The only downside is the short playtime, which is around 5 to 6 hours.

My Experience
I enjoyed the game and I'm happy to have played it. It is very emotional and the end.. well better see yourself. However, I would have loved more in-depth choices that have meaningful consequences, more love to details, and greater variety in game mechanics and quick time events to maintain tension and immersion in the story. The little minigames in between made up a bit for that and were pretty funny. Especially in the beginning, I felt a bit disappointed by the rapid switches between locations after completing tasks, instead of, for example, being able to walk back to my cell on my own or come up with my own ideas rather than following a clearly linear path the game pushes into your face or just following my character's prompts. Some additional puzzles, particularly while being in the prison setting, would have been greatly appreciated. The gameplay was not challenging at all, except for the ending where you have to compete against a real player/your partner. I'm a bit uncertain about my thoughts on the split-screen feature. I played the game online with a friend, so split-screen wasn't necessary, but the more I played, the more I actually enjoyed knowing and seeing what my partner was doing at the very same moment as me. I had trouble connecting to my character (Vincent), and I think he could have had more personality as I think of him as the smart talker. Situations in which Vincent or Leo could gather more information or make small differences based on their individual strengths would have been nice. However, this was not too often the case or clearly presented. It is a very good game to enjoy easily but I see a lot more potential that has not been picked up - which doesn't make it bad ofc :)

I would recommend this game to anyone who has the patience to find the right puzzle parts, enjoys engaging stories with a dark twist, or is an achievement hunter.

My personal summary
★★★★☆

*Game's Goal*
The game wants you to feel engaged in the story, question your knowledge and reality, and experience the pain of the loop.
[★] achieved
[ ] not achieved

*Story*
The Story is the main motivation of this game and it is very well written and presented.

*Gameplay/Game Mechanics*
The loop you are living through feels natural and punishing, which immerses and holds you into the game but can also frustrate you due to many repetitions. Also this Game doesn't work like a game. Very small details make a big difference, and it is not clear for everyone on how to "restart" the game for example.

*Grafics/Animations/Details*
The sounds, graphics, and details align very well with the feeling the game wants to create. It has minimal UI/Menus, which helps with immersing into the actions. And the top down perspective is perfect for this! Makes it so cinematic. Some animations were slightly off/not playing smoothily in the situation.

*Price fairness*
It depends a lot on your playstyle and how fast you solve the loop puzzle. If you finish in about 2 hours and don't want to see the other endings, I can imagine you might feel like it is overpriced. Considering the various endings to achieve, I find the price tolerable.

*Bugs*
[★] Yes: A short stuck Animation stopped the cop from killing me until I untied myself
[ ] No

*My Experience*
The game has a very unique concept, and the story is extremely captivating. Especially in the first few loops, you feel excited to try out new ideas to escape the loop. However, this is also its biggest weakness as you end up repeating many conversations and actions. The worst part is that I tried numerous combinations that probably would have led to more endings/achievements, but I haven't reached the complete end yet. Consequently, it becomes more frustrating to try everything again. A game mechanic for skipping entire parts or conversations by simply holding the skip button could have helped alleviate this issue. At times, it's quite unclear which actions could make a difference, and there are countless combinations to explore. Despite these challenges, I also want to praise this game. It's evident that a lot of thought and playtesting went into it, and overall, I had a fun time and was genuinely intrigued by the twist. For some, it might be a bit overwhelming since it touches upon a taboo topic. I appreciated the attention to detail in the conversations, which included subtle hints. I also enjoyed the game's immersive nature, with minimal UI and menu interaction.

I loved the vibe of it. It's perfect for when you want something light and easygoing. The game doesn't make a big effort to entertain or dazzle with stunning illustrations. There's no grand plot or purpose; it feels more focused on the details and giving a glimpse into Margo's life. It was exactly what I expected, and I enjoyed my slow gameplay for around 45 minutes.

Early Access Review

I like (^◡^)

I knew I would be too impatient for this, but for players who enjoy challenging games like this, it has potential and I imagine it could be quite enjoyable. I didn't get very far into it since I got frustrated within the first few minutes, but I did like the overall feel of it!

Not having a jump function makes you feel limited and raises the challenge level - but it gets well replaced by the gun. You can't move while shooting yourself in the air, which may be for gameplay purposes, but it felt a bit strange to me. I would have appreciated a bit more freedom with the "in air" movement.

When I saw the game's pictures on steam, I thought it doesn't really look visually appearing, but being in it really feels different and the funny texts and a little starting animation adds to a better overall experience.

Lastly, I want to mention that the character loses an arm every time they turn around. It would be better to either have both arms or just one that stays on one side. (◕‿◕)/
