This simulator is a really good entry for those who have wondered if being a auto mechanic is what they want to do. It is a simplified perspective of what one may expect when diving deeper in the heart and bones of the automobile. You will learn the layout of the different engines and the various types of suspensions system for each kind of car you will encounter in the real world. I can say with 100% confidence that my car in RL resembles the version portrayed in this game.

To be clear, it's a 'simplified' version of what you will see in real life. There's no wiring harness, fuel lines, brake lines, you don't need to accurately fix timings, and sometimes the assembly/disassembly order is not realistic. But, this does not take away from the level of detail portrayed in this game. If anything (if this is for you) it will further your interest into auto mechanic to the next level.

It's that PajamaSam/SpyFox/PuttPutt type of adventure we grew up with.
Made for us who are older now. Including the adult humor, implied violence, & outrageous puzzles.

This hardware works briliantly in situational set-ups, but still has it's bugs no doubt. If you're the type that enjoys playing PC on the TV for that maximum couch experience, you may remember how annoying it is to adjust resolutions each time you plug/unplug the PC to the other TV in the house/place or fix the potential black bars on the side.

Review Set-Up:
Used for 3-months and going.
Store-front Office Space
x1 PC (i7-4790k, 1080 GTX, 8GB DDR3, 1TB SSD)
x1 Laptop (i7-6600u, 950m GTX, 8GB DDR3, 240GB SSD)
x1 Samsung 40" 4k TV

This SMALL ONE ROOM office sees customers and clients frequently. They come in and out in varying interval stays. The TV is partioned from the working computers (PC & laptop), and is there to entertain guests. All devices are directly LAN connected. The PC is also connected to the TV for presentations / twitch multi-screen purposes.

While I'm working on the laptop, I can easily stream a game from the PC to the TV no doubt. If guests come-in while the PC is being used, they can connect to my laptop instead (native install; in this case lower demanding games). Laptop streams suprisingly well on Wifi with lag once the laptop heats up, but LAN connect is always better (USE A LAPTOP FAN!!)

MOST games worked smoothly. You will definately run into a couple of games that will not be very pleasant to even get started. You can usually count on AAA/popular titles to have full capability. A single Microscoft Xbox wireless adapter w/ accompanying controllers is the most familiar set-up. I personally use the Steam Controller as most games will utilize it with Steam Link more efficiently. The interface is good and watching newbies mess with it, showed that it is simple enough for non-gamers to start a game or find more info about it.

I would not pay retail for it; but knowing it's utility now, I could highly consider it at a lower price point. On-sale off the steam store for $13? Without hesitation. But remember: You WILL experience a ton of bugs before it becomes the perfect product it wants to be.
