KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX- is like diving into a nostalgic treasure chest, where each gem shines brighter than you remember. From the whimsical charm of Disney worlds to the layers of mystery surrounding the original characters, this collection is an emotional rollercoaster that reminds you why this series is so beloved.

The remastering is stellar. The updated visuals make Sora, Donald, and Goofy’s journey through heartwarming and heartbreaking tales pop with vibrant energy. Seeing familiar places like Traverse Town or Hollow Bastion in HD is a treat for the eyes, while the orchestrated soundtracks give the whole experience an emotional depth that makes key moments hit even harder.

Gameplay feels both familiar and refined. Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, in particular, bring an extra layer of polish, with tweaks that make combat smoother while still retaining that chaotic, action-packed fun we know and love. And the inclusion of Chain of Memories and Birth by Sleep ties the story together beautifully, offering a look at the series' sprawling lore.

But let’s not sugarcoat it—some of the series’ quirks remain. The platforming in the first game still feels clunky, and certain mechanics, like the card system in Chain of Memories, might not be everyone’s cup of tea. However, those who stick with it will be rewarded with a deeper appreciation for the interconnected narrative.

What makes this collection special is the emotional resonance it brings. The themes of friendship, perseverance, and finding light in the darkest moments feel timeless, and replaying them made me relive all the feelings that hooked me in the first place.

This isn’t just a remaster—it’s a heartfelt journey for newcomers and longtime fans alike. KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX- is a must-play, especially if you’ve ever found yourself humming “Simple and Clean”

It's okay.

Sometimes it can be buggy. Other times it can stop working, which requires you to restart it. Other than that, I recommend it or XSOverlay.

A fresh remake of a classic.

Great to relive those old moments and some new with this game. I can only hope that the rest of the releases are just as awesome, if not better.

Your giant robots hold the coast.
Your cruisers sail the seas.
Your soldiers wait at every post,
And bombers fly the breeze.

Your wonders stand in every space.
Your savings surge in stores.
Your cities grow in every place,
And all the land is yours.

Your map's the hue and shade of you.
You're watching Gandhi burn.
There's nothing left for you to do.

You whisper: "one more turn..."

This game is great. Tons of different game modes for a little challenge, addictive game play, and a blast to play against friends. Yes, if you don't know how to play the game (which I didn't) it can be a bit of a pain to learn, but as you play along you get into the groove.

Finding the right Civ/Leader for your style of play or challenge within the game is pretty fun. You really never know how it'll end.
