The Finals is the most fun I have had in any shooter game in a LONG while.

These days CS2 usually leaves me feeling sad and empty, Overwatch feels boring after 20 minutes, TF2 is fun, but after 3000 hours of that I needed something fresh, and all the other major shooters feel uninteresting to me these days. The Finals hit me as a lightning strike on a sunny day. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game makes me feel ♥♥♥♥ I havent in a long long time. The high pace, the destructible levels, creative utility, team play and most of all, the insane sense of "urgency" when playing is like a dopamine injection straight into the veins.

To truly enjoy this type of game, I think you must generally be a fan of high pace arcade like shooters, where you enjoy high health bars (takes many bullets to kill). If you enjoy games like Overwatch, TF2 or Apex, this might be a hit for you. If you are a milsim person, or think everything thats not CS2 is cringe, then this is obviously not for you.

For the very few that have played Crysis 2 or Crysis 3 multiplayer, imo thats the closes comparison to what it "feels like" when it comes to movement and gunplay, just 1000 times less ♥♥♥♥ :D The rest of the gameplay tho, like the utility kit, the strategy, map design and objectives is totally new, and to me at least seems innovative and new.

I would not be surprised if this is the next thing I get 2000-3000 hours in :P

Played this game for 100 hours, was great, then suddenly realize that mafia wins in a 1v1 with a transporter or other roles that mafs cant kill in a 1v1. The game gives mafia team wins in a few different situations where its a draw. Esports ready bois.

(For those interrested in how this works: transporters can switch place with the mafia, so if the mafia tries to kill the trans, they kill themselves instead. The mafia cannot target themself, so the mafia cannot directly "counter" this effect)

10/10 Great and hillarious entertainment. Sadly a very short game (I cleared it in about 100 minutes). Not a huge value since its not super cheap and is very short, but its great fun while it lasted.

+ Its better than LSD for half the price
