One of the best video games in existence, and here's why:

- Great gameplay: Let's you get right back into action after your death, and music is non-stop, making the gameplay feel more continuous in delivery of action.
- Great soundtrack: Perturbator, Carpenter Brut, Scattle, Mega Drive, etc
- Tony
- Alex & Ash
- Flamethrower
- Manny Pardo and his executions
- Steam Workshop contents adding even more hours. Check out: A Real Human Bean, Miami Falls, Requiem, Blessed Redux, Hunter: Snowfall & Red Star, Bushido, Carlmpaign, Steamed Hams, THOTLINE MIAMI, Rooster Files, Madness etc
- Love-or-hate storyline. I personally loved how this game sort of reflects the non-deterministic nature of the real world, that our lives may have significant impacts regardless of our actions.

This game is pretty cheap so try it out! Even if you end up not liking it very much or even hating it, $20 is not much of a loss anyway.

This game is a must-play, PERIOD.

This game is not for everyone, but I think if you are a fan of either shooters or RPG, then you have to, under any and all circumstances, play this game.

This game is jam-packed with contents and gameplay mechanics, many of which are unique to this game, and mods are very nice additions. Just to name a few, you can dismember enemies, pickpocket, pick locks, hack terminals, play slots, sleep with prostitutes, assassinate the President of a fictional state, do drugs, get addicted to drugs, eat human flesh, carry 20+ weapons, talk to your brain, convince the final boss to walk away from the battle, be invisible (temporarily), and kill someone who shot you in the head.

Sure, graphics may not have aged well, shooting can be somewhat clunky, and some builds can be downright OP, but these are something that you can either accept as a part of this game or fix by modding.

I wanted to find a game like this, and did come across quite a few, such as STALKER and Borderlands series, but neither of these games get it quite right like Fallout: New Vegas does.

Not to mention that this game literally spawned memes like: "Degenerates like you belong on a cross" or "You can't expect God to do all the work." If the memes led you here, and if you don't mind stories that are serious and often quite depressing, then I don't think this game will disappoint you.

You owe yourself to enjoy your stay.
