AAA games are like the pretty girl everyone wants to date, but indie games are like the girl you want to marry. Creative, smart, engaging, full or personality and passion.

I won't spoil anything for anyone, but if you like narrative games with dialog choices give this one a shot!

Eerie in the best way possible. Oozing with atmosphere. Good amount of difficulty.

It is basically S.T.A.L.K.E.R in VR and it works really well: You're stuck in an open-world irradiated zone and must take missions, survive, and try to progress the story to discover how to escape. There's an ever present giant red orb floating ominously in the sky, shadowy figures stalking you, dangerous sometimes invisible anomalies, and remnants of other survivors petrified in stone.

There's something compelling about having to cautiously scavenge the irradiated zone, take calculated risks, and when you inevitably run into enemies frantically fight for your life while you fumble trying to reload your pistol (you have to load bullets into your own pistol clip in this game, which makes for some tense moments). I love that there are only so many holsters on your person and yet a variety of tools you need to use so you're often pulling out your backpack to perform tasks--it makes you feel vulnerable while you're going about your business.

I'm only 2 hours into the game, but I also really like the difficulty level. I'm playing on "story-mode", but it is still plenty challenging without being unfair. It also respects your time allowing you to save whenever you want so I just play 20-30 minutes at a time, it’s about all the creepiness I can handle at a time.

I highly recommend picking it up if you're looking for a new immersive VR game! The closest thing to it is Walking Dead Saints and Sinners, if you like that game, you'll definitely like Into the Radius.
