Overall, this game is a fantastic successor to Zoo Tycoon; however, it has its faults. In my course of playing I ran into several game-breaking glitches, some of which required me to re-start scenarios I had put hours into (most prominently, protesters remaining angry at animals with 95% welfare). On the positive side the game offers nearly limitless ability for customization and creativity. If the bugs were fixed I could easily give it a 9/10, but it's unsettling that a game with multiple expansions still has so many flaws in the base campaign missions. I definitely suggest this game for fans of the genre, but be prepared that, in an era of always-online games releasing unfinished, this is certainly among those that suffer from serious bugs. I've yet to play a single game scenario that didn't have at least one glitch. I obviously still like it, but it needs major reworking.

Forget anyone who tells you this is a game to be skipped in the Witcher franchise - having re-played it 8 years after my first play-through it is as fun and immersive as the first time. Each game in the series has a vastly different gameplay style and this game is more of a rythem game than its sequels in terms of the gameplay itself. That being said, the first Witcher game is a brilliant RPG that includes choices and consequences that actually matter to the plot! If you love the books and the other games, please check this out. Although there are numerous inconsistencies with the books, there are also a lot of fun references to them, so it really all depends on how anal-retentive you are about rigid consistency toward Sapkowski's source material to love this game. Being a book fan - you should love this game!

What a pleasant surprise!

I was astonished at how lovely this game was. The gameplay was simple on the surface but intricate upon further investigation. The art is charming, as well as the story and all of the characters. At first I thought I would never use certain characters but found them very useful in the later game. The puzzles are very simple but flying just feels so fun!!

I have to say, wow, what a great game. This is a real 9/10 for me. I was kinda expecting it to be trash, but the musical score, the visuals, the gameplay and the story are all great. What a hidden gem. I loved it and I even cried a little at the end.

This is a definite replay game for me.

Star Wars: tKotOR is one of the greatest rpgs ever made. It is a truly magical delve into the Star Wars universe, with an expansive story, interesting characters, and challenging turn-based gameplay. The game has some of the best roleplay elements extantt o date and allows for the player to go far above and beyond the typical black/white morality of many morality-driven rpgs.

That all being said, the Steam version does not work. A quick google search will show you just how broken and unplayable this version of the game is. There has been no attempt to update this game for modern computers and even in compatability mode, it does not function. There are literally thousands of game-breaking bugs and glitches in the steam version that make it unplayable.

Please, please, play this game but for the love of god, save yourself the frustration and do not buy the Steam version. Wait for a sale on GOG. Steam couldn't care less about how this game does not work.

Betrayer was a very nice surprise that more than met my expectations of it. The visuals are haunting. I sincerely recommend not turning the saturation up because the black and white effect seems clearly designed for the game. The gameplay is often tough and somewhat unforgiving. Betrayer doesn’t hold your hand like so many other games these days, you have to actually do a bit of reading and investigating to figure out what's going on.

From the moment I started, the score and the visuals had me tense. I'm someone who loves older horror games and the simplicity of this game really appealed to me. The ambiant sound is fantastic and keeps the player on edge. I sincerely got goosebumps more than once from playing this.

I have to say though, like all things, it's not perfect. The entire game revolves around you going to different places on the map and finding things. These locations are all marked on your map when you enter a new area. I would say that the game's lack of hand-holding probably would prevent a lot of people from even getting far enough to criticize the collect-em-all nature of it, but that's neither here nor there. Beyond the story itself, it's really just a collection game and that can get tedious.

Overall, I loved it. It's a solid game with pretty tight gameplay and honest nightmare material with an interesting plot to boot. It has its flaws and can get repetitive and boring, but all games have flaws. Betrayer reminds me of why I fell in love with horror games to begin with.

This game has no business being as absolutely amazing as it is. Never stop releasing DLC for it. I always need more!
