Beautiful game, especially in HDR. Best enjoyed with a controller. Combat is fun, with your choice of stealth or full-out attack with plenty of variety. Exploring the open world is both rewarding and relaxing, with plenty of history and geography to get lost in along the way.

GTA Online experience:
Overall, I'd say if you're a solo player it's a worthwhile upgrade, but if you want to cooperate online with strangers you're SOL.
Pros:
- Updated graphics look fantastic.
- Animals in the overworld makes it feel much more alive.
Cons:
- No chat. (This is a big problem considering the next point)
- Maximum number of active organizations is too low. They all only have 1 member now since there's no communication, so I have to session hop to find one that isn't full.
- Loading screen hell.
- More work to jump straight into online from launching the game.

A game best enjoyed spoiler-free and without guides. The tension of diving deeper into parts unknown in search of answers is fuelled by the fear of what else might be down there...

This game is very good.

Ubisoft Connect prevents me from starting the game quite often, refusing to launch.
Other than that, I have fun playing this game.

Sunrise to sunset I haul scores of undersea denizens, mouths gaping and gasping for air, onto the deck of my dilapidated vessel. After dark... I've heard men go mad crashing against the inky black waves. I dare not float far from shore after dark.

I catch fish for to make moneys with then I buy good gear for to catch better fishes with for to become the fish king. My secret: I only fishes for trout :D

9/10 would fail to understand again. There were three of us trying to figure this game out. It got crazy, but many holes still to be filled in. Definitely recommend if you are ready to sit there for a few hours. Go in blind. It will make you think one thing, then show you another. Better story than many movies.

If you're a PC gamer like me, and you're still waiting for GTA V to be announced, then to keep you occupied I strongly recommend this expansion pack. It is basically two extra games! The Lost and the Damned adds the challenge of almost constantly needing to be on a motorcycle, and The Ballad of Gay Tony makes having your dream sportscar a much closer reality. The expansion pack features new weapons, new vehicles, and even shares some ties with the original GTA IV storyline! I strongly recommend this if you were as addicted to GTA IV as I was! I can't get enough of this exansion pack :)

*EDIT* It isn't even an expansion pack! You could just get this instead of GTA IV! (which you still might want to play anyways)

This is not at all the kind of gameplay I was expecting. A point-and-click? Really? I was expecting a lot more from a game based on such a giant popular franchise. If I had a time machine I would save myself 30 bucks and check the other reviews for this game. They all said the same thing. I guess I leaned my lesson though.
