unoptimised ttk is so long

This review is coming from a long time NFS fan-take the review as you will.

This game is definitely a step in the right direction for the NFS franchise. Engine swaps bring something fresh to the series, and the customization is plentiful as always. Story is fun, engaging, and the multiple characters and their missions are enjoyable. While the story is nothing special, it definitely works, and is in my opinion better than Paybacks storyline. Graphics are great, although there are some examples of lower end textures, possibly due to me running the game on an HDD but oh well. The weather doesn't really change as much as I would like it to, and there isn't a whole lot of weather variety.

Now onto the handling, oh boy. The fact that you can actually decide what kind you want and tune it with the suspension, differential, and tires, does make the whole system much better than just buying specific spec cars like in Payback. IMO all track upgrades are probably the best handling for road racing, while the rally upgrades are the most ideal for offroad races. Now to talk about the drift handling, it's awful. The cars feel heavy, incredibly boaty, and just very poorly controllable when using the full drift handling loadout. I've found that using showcase suspension and differential with drag tires, yes drag tires, then putting your downforce all the way to low, and steering sensitivity all the way to high to be the most controllable. I've also heard that the FD RX-7 handles alright with drift handling, but I have not tried that out myself (may update review later with some tests).

In the end the game is fun, and a good addition to the NFS franchise. I honestly have no clue as to where the series is going to go to since Ghost has been split and Criterion has taken over.

Game is great, but I would only get it using EA Play, or on a sale, not really worth for full price.

if you put in your time and effort, results will be tremendous. sleep plays a large part too, and go outside once in while please.

Great buy

The story is ok. If you come for the multiplayer in 2018, don't buy this. They have recently shut down the servers for that, so it's impossible to login. Nut otherwise it's a great game.

eh, better and more satisfying than valorant.
