First Impressions: Wow, Timberborn really took me by surprise! This isn't just another city builder—it's a game that shakes up the whole genre. You know when you find a game that just clicks with you? That's Timberborn for me.

One of the game's standout features is its seasonal system, which varies in length and unpredictability. This adds a layer of complexity to your strategic planning, as you can't easily predict the ideal time to upgrade or expand your city. It challenges players to think on their feet and adapt to ever-changing conditions.

Deep, Engaging Mechanics: Having spent nearly 100 hours in the game, I can attest to its complexity and the depth of its mechanics. Timberborn goes beyond simple city planning; it involves intricate mathematics and resource management. From balancing water pump operations, water consumption, and food production, to optimizing resource usage, the game offers a rich and challenging experience. It's a haven for those who love delving into spreadsheets and fine-tuning every aspect of their city's functioning.

Timberborn is a refreshing take on city builders. It's challenging, engaging, and makes you think differently about how you build and manage resources. If you're into games that require a bit of brainpower and aren't afraid of a little unpredictability, give it a shot. Just be prepared for a few dead beavers!

Must-Try for Roguelite Fans: If you're a fan of roguelites, Astral Ascent is an unmissable game. It masterfully blends innovative elements with the core mechanics of traditional roguelikes, offering a fresh yet familiar experience.

Unique Yet Familiar: The game excels in striking a balance between uniqueness and adherence to classic roguelike principles. This blend creates an engaging gameplay experience that feels both innovative and comfortably familiar to genre enthusiasts.

Progressive Challenge: Initially, your runs in Astral Ascent might feel short-lived, with little progress. However, as you advance and conquer various bosses, you'll realize the game's depth. Despite investing nearly 10 hours, I've found that I've only just begun to uncover the vastness of the game's world and challenges.

In Summary: Astral Ascent stands out as a remarkable choice for those who appreciate roguelites. Its fusion of novel ideas with traditional gameplay makes it a captivating journey that continually unfolds, revealing more layers the more you play. This game promises hours of engaging and challenging fun, and I am eagerly looking forward to discovering more.

While short, it is one of the best extensions to this game!
The huge door, the additional portal opens, expands the game much more than what seems possible. Not only is the game mechanic itself, but the maps are well designed.

Such a good game.

The art is fantastic.
The music is beautiful.
The combat is so fluent and just difficult enough.

You need to pay attention to every detail in the game, this isn't a game for a nice quiet lazy evening after a long day at work.

Sometimes I wish for a neutral option. This game is one big "meh". It is so generic and uses overplayed tropes to get by.
Generally boring but just fun enough to sit through the campaign and get a taste of the endgame.

The game is quite fun. I completed it in two sittings.

GAME BREAKING: The game doesn't save if you aren't online! I lost all my progress due to no internet.
