I'm no card game fan but this is legitimately amazing. This game manages to be challenging and nail-biting while also being relaxing and just casually fun. I usually quit games after the first month of playing them but this is one of the very very few games I keep coming back to.
The gameplay is actually engaging and fun from the start of a run to its finish, which is very rare for a game in the roguelike genre since you start with few items and gain more throughout. Slay the Spire is not only deck-reliant, a lot comes down to using the right cards at the right time and knowing how to attack each enemy which makes runs challenging even from the starting level.

Takes TBOI to a whole different level, making it feel more complete, hard and fun!
It also completely fixes the utter disappointment that was Afterbirth Plus. Highly recommend if you enjoy the base game!

Incredible game for the kids! Just let my 7 year old daughter play it and she had the time of her life. Recommend any parent with young children to let their kids try this extremely family friendly game out!
