Quake Champions is my first Quake game. I also bought Quake live shortly after. And I must say abilities are by no means polluting legacy of quake. They are just small additions to your arsenal of weapons. If you don't like it you can play wiuthout using abilities and still dominate arena. As far as reviews accusing pay-to-play/pay-to-win goes that's not true. Having more champions just gives you more champions to play different play-styles, not an edge over your opponent.

Game is getting better with every update. Balance changes are also made with almost every update.

Only issue I have with this game is everytime I start it loading screen takes ~1 min to take me to main menu. (Installed on SDD)

Note- I repeat this is not a Overwatch.

Best multiplayer game. Dedicated and friendly community. Recomanded 100%
