the ONLY good mobile port. literally just a "turn your brain off and look at the colors move" type game, great time waster if you have no other option shy of watching paint dry

i enjoy it, the pacing needs work and it does get to a point where you're just waiting and not actually doing anything

solid if treated as an idle game, hope there'll be more nuance to gameplay itself in the future

clientsided weekly shop rotation that can give you the same ♥♥♥♥? even outright the same 4 things you had the last week?

an event where you will be guaranteed to lose 4 items no matter what you do?

wtf are these devs on anymore lol

a proc chain pseudo-inventory management roguelike? sign me the ♥♥♥♥ up!

genuinely a surprisingly fun little gem, much as i dislike the vampire survivor-like subgenre it chose

just another fun time-sink, has maximum upgrades so far which makes me happy, my usual turn-off for idle games is when there's no limits to what upgrades you can buy and seeing that that's not the case here is refreshing

progression feels a bit stonewalled by a certain point, starts fast gets slow, but it's not any less fun

being able to change the snake's movement from being input-based and not automatic is chef's kiss, completely saved my eyes from the strain games like snake give them

This is really fun. The optimization suffers greatly and it's never fun setting up every little setting to get the best visuals and the best framerate. But, once you do, you're in for a real fun ride. Story's a bit quick and the whole open world element of it I'm not really seeing, though.

Feels a little too much like Monster Hunter: World. Not a bad thing, but something to keep note of. You are playing a direct sequel to World. Loving all the weapon and monster designs, but definitely felt way too easy early on. I didn't die once until all the way in Azuz with the 2v1 ape fight.

When asked, "if you could only play one game for the rest of your life; but it'd always be updated and/or online, what would it be?", I chose Pacific Drive.

Though it has its shortcomings, most significantly when it comes to its loading screens and lackluster procedural generation, this game filled a desire I've had for a long time.

A game where you drove through a post-apocalypse.

This wish of mine came from Watch Dogs, with one of its digital trip minigames, Alone. Driving through a desolate and abandoned city coated in fog created an enthralling experience for me, and I finally got to experience that again, but fleshed out as a full game of its own right.

When its demo came out, we had sought out ways to continue it, using any bug or trick we could to break beyond its limitations. And we did. We were able to constantly play through the same run and progress, limited only by content not yet added.

I played the demo for 50 hours. I hope to play the official game for much, much, longer. Thus far, I'm impeded only by having a life.

I am happy to have found this game. I am happy it was made. It even came out just days after my twenty-first birthday.

To me, Pacific Drive is a soulmate in digital form.

Very few other games contest it.

incredibly disturbing scam practices. ubiscam has prevented me from playing this game at all, locking it behind a ubisoft email that doesn't exist, if it's not giving me false flag anticheat or just not working at all to begin with, or it's asking me for a cd key that i do not have

extreme incompetence
