Would you recommend this game to other players?

Yes, it's alright.

I never actually bought a game that contains lootboxes, but thanks to this game i can now get all the fun of opening them and get delighted by all the duplicates i get!

Cons:
- Can't request a refund
- It's free to play
- It's actually playable... no errors, no crash to desktop
- No lizard nor spock
- Unable to rebind my keys
- no VR support
- doesn't fit on a 3.5 inch floppy disk
- "You need to have used this product for at least 5 minutes before posting a review for it (3 minutes on record)."
- proves once and for all that Steam is mostly a trash dump these days

Pros:
- Only lasts 2-3 minutes or so untill you've done everything and 2 or 3 more to write a review

Keeping an eye on this game all the way back from when it first appeared on Greenlight, Crazy Pixel Streaker is a pretty good entry in Steam Early Access.

The developers put everything in there that they promised they would do so far. A working online mode, small character customizations with hats that you get from bosses and give you different bonuses, The Party Mode with a cute minigame that is kind of like Rocket League.

All of this however, is just a framework. CPS has the potential of having so much more stuff in it. More stadiums, more crazy weapons and character customization, more mini games that have party game potential....

Now the important question: Would I recommend you to buy it at this early stage?
I would say yes!

It is already super fun to beat the living hell out of everything that tries to stop you in your mission to streak around and it gets even better with a couple of friends (and probably a beer or two :D).
Don't let yourself get fooled though! Despite of its more "cute" retro graphics style this game is extremely challenging and whether you play alone or team up with your friends, you're going to find yourself thinking about a plan and some tactics to survive long enough to finally go into the bossfight, without having every item used already and dying within the next hit.

For now CPS will probably give you around 15-20h of fun before you did and see everything.

I'm going to keep this review updated when the development advances.

It's nice to explore for a couple of hours but that's basically it...... why it had 3 paid add-ons is a mystery to me. The modding community were the only ones that made this game actually somewhat enjoyable besides of just wandering around.

From the outside this game seems to be a bad joke, but behind the curtain lies more than some might actually expect.
What makes this game truly worth the money are the jokes and well done satire of itself and the video game industry in general.

Unfortunately after unlocking and seeing everything once, it might get boring real quick.
Thankfully there are leaderboards, that make the game interesting and fun for a couple more hours. That only is of course if the devs will take care of them and delete hacked/fake scores. Without that regular maintenance, leaderboards are rather useless.

A great addition would be a local PvP mode which would make this a real decent Party Game.

However it's still pretty funny as it is.


Recommended for some quick and easy fun in between!

Easy to learn, super difficult to master!
