Halo with keyboard & mouse. Menus are kinda wonky, but for combining 4 games into 1 interface, it's not bad.

100% worth the $15 extra on top of the HD edition bundle. They did a super excellent job with this reboot, multiple quality of life improvements, and massively improved graphical quality without ruining the feel of the original game at all. Some technical issues have been observed but assuming they smooth out the bugs over time, definitely a top RTS in 2020.

At first I wasn't so sure about this experience... I bought it for the VR DLC and started out in the sort of "easy" mode fishing where there's a lot more HUD info and a camera mode to look underwater at your bait. I highly recommend turning that crap off. For the price, I think it has been one of the better VR experiences I've tried so far. Just wish it was easier to drink a beer while my headset is on...

Yeah i mean it's a respected benchmarking platform. I use it to test overclocking and hardware tweaks. It's fine. Only problem is sometimes my PC crashes while using it. ;)

Speaks for itself. 10/10 VR game even if you are not typically into rhythm based DDR/Guitar Hero style games. I paid full price, no regrets. Also: Good work out.

Will try to update / post more thorough review after I have more time to play through, but so far absolutely worth it. The gameplay combined with the atmosphere brings be back on a regular basis. Also the ability to save/reload your game whenever you want makes for an enjoyable yet still challenging solo play experience so far in the first few levels.

Update: Changing this review to negative incase it would sway anyone one way or the other. I played this game a total of once or twice and I just realized that it was eating up 90GB of hard drive space. Definitely not worth keeping this game around - now falls into the "Retired" category. Got on sale for $10. Probably gonna keep it around as a back-pocket co-op game. Pretty major rip-off of L4D concepts, but executed pretty well. Combat feels ... pretty boring honestly. There's just not enough going on with your character. You get a few buttons to mash ... gets old pretty quickly and the loot system is not sufficient to overcome this lack of depth.

But if you wanna smash some rats this game is great. Probably worth $10. Or at least $8.

I'm always on the lookout for fun co-op games, especially those which support easy drop-in and drop-out networking. This game does that pretty well.... but the game itself is not what I was looking for. Turn based combat is way too slow for my taste, and there's just way too much dialogue interaction. I think we spent about 70% of our game time reading dialogue, and 10% in actual combat, with the remainder being running around / navigating. This probably smooths out over time, but the combat wasn't engaging enough for my squad to take any real interest.

I guess if I had done more research before trying it I probably would have known I wouldn't like it, but too much research can ruin parts of the experience...

I'm sure it's probably great if you have a ton of free time, or if you're more into the solo play aspect of it. If you're looking for a good co-op game, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for the price they are asking.

This game is excellent. Definitely recommend for an organic exploration / buildy / open worldy type of game. Haven't tried coop, playing solo only for now, and it's still really great. Beautiful and relaxing, perfect drop in drop out kind of game. Bought on sale but probably worth full price. Check the documentary on YouTube, the story behind the game is very interesting.

The game doesn't hold your hand too much which is something I really appreciate. I recommend not using external resources to look up what's going on and just play it fully organically for the best experience.

I could see this being a 100 hr game in my library, especially if I get the chance to play coop.

EDIT: I kind of lost interest in this game after building my first rocket ship. Something very lacking with the way the rocket works, was kind of disappointed. Also not really sure I feel like progressing any further with the resources and crafting. I'll come back to it eventually purely because the game is so pretty, but without more depth to the gameplay itself than just exploring the universe, I find little to no will to carry on for now... Still better than No Mans Sky, and still recommend if on sale.

I tried this game out for 2 hours, never really ended up going back to it. Guess I can't really recommend it.
