It has huge potential, graphically it's stunning and there's moments of utter beauty.

But so much is rushed, unfinished or straight up broken.
It feels awkward to play, like certain systems regressed or outright don't work as depicted, while the story is confusing and treating you like a child every step of the way. You're not allowed to think, you're going to have the exact emotion the game outright tells you to have in every single scene while certain dialogues are weird if not misplaced outright.

Combat also is confusing. why use squads when it's clunky to handle, reinforce, and simply worse than just ctrl+a --> right click on whatever you need dead.

The mothership is faster than the fleet? the big capital ships feel utterly useless? skills are useless, especially for larger ships. Torpedo Frigattes don't even work. 90% of the roadmap is for wargames...and the patches so far have been lackluster to say the least.

There isn't a single mission in space itself, furthermore the scaling is way off and small ships can look enormous while big ones look tiny with the wrong angle or zoomed in slightly off.

There is so much that needs adressing that I'd bet against it ever reaching a state I'd find fair for the price it charges and the name it has. it may consider itself a sequel, but it's a step back in every area that counts (except graphics).

Wait for a sale, or better yet, play the original

Once again back to negative since all the regions are still locked out despity Sony walking back their absolutely awful decision for PSN requirement.

Won't be changed unless both the requirement is indefinitely suspended AND all the regions gain access again.

Rushed to release, unfortunately. Wait with purchase until they actually finish it - if they ever will

With the Micro Transactions being the way they are, don't buy the game.

Plus Denuvo ruins the experience for a lot of ppl.

Pirate it if you wanna play it, you'll have a much better time that way :)

A game that's got 2% of the active playerbase of it's own predecessor. An unfinished, poorly designed mess of a game that needed at least another 2 years to be functional let alone finished.

Dead on arrival puts it mildly and I should've refunded it at launch instead of hoping to be able to play it at all back then.

Negative due to the developers stance on the use of AI with voice acting.

I miss my childhood...what an amazing game and game series
