The waifu death simulator returns for another instalment! The marketing got me very hyped for this game and it was also definitely very interesting to have a female main character being promoted for a mainline DR game. The plot hits you very hard emotionally from the get go, though some of the cases do feel rather formulaic later on in the game. There's obviously a clear 'formula' that the writers follow for the game, which is a big negative for this game. In some aspects they seem more content with staying in their comfort zone rather than breaking new ground for the series. Regardless, it's more of the DR you know and love. The ending was interesting though very divisive for many, but I do hope they do make more mainline DR games in the future. I personally can't wait to see what a new writing team's approach towards the franchise would be. 8/10 game.
