Pretty cool game
you dont need DLC's to have fun, but after a while you will want to experiment with new mechanics, these new mechanics adds new possibilities and layers to the gameplay making it more interesting and complex, some DLCs are better than others so do your research,

I think it would be interesting to the base game to become free, so more people can get on the game
