One of the most stylish and gorgeous games of all time. It is completely drenched in charm 100% of the way through and feels exactly like playing through a late 2000s action cartoon. Not to mention the combat itself is incredibly satisfying and rewarding. Genuinely a one of a kind video game.

♥♥♥♥ Microsoft.

Starting this by saying Starfield is probably the worst purchase I've ever made. If you're considering buying it: Do Not.
Disclaimer: I have not finished this game. I probably never will. I've played more than enough to write a review, though.

From my experience this game is more stable than Fallout 76 was at launch, but I can confidently say the complete mess that was Fallout 76 is infinitely more fun than Starfield. This is by far the worst Bethesda RPG I have played.

The problem is the premise in itself. There's tons of worlds to visit. Way too many. To the point where it is unreasonable to expect almost any of them to be worth visiting. And as expected, almost none of them are worth visiting. There is nothing to do but scan things, grab useless resources, and sometimes fight enemies that will usually also have useless items.

On top of this, even getting to the planets is overly cumbersome and the existence of your ship is almost completely pointless. Flying isn't fun, ship combat isn't fun, and there's no real reason to spend any time in your ship at all beyond it being a requirement to fast travel to a different planet. It is a glorified loading screen that you can also do boring combat in sometimes.

And lastly, all of the quests that I have done, side quests and main quests included, are all underwhelming. I have heard some of the later quests are better, but I probably won't bother finding out. 30 hours of boring characters, locations, and tasks is more than enough for me to give up on this game.
Oh and all the level up perks suck too. I don't have further comment on that, they just all suck.

I wasn't expecting this game to be incredible, but I was at least expecting to enjoy it in spite of its flaws, like I have with Skyrim and Fallout 4. Unfortunately, this game is complete garbage. And it's garbage in ways that updates won't fix. So don't bother.

Some of the worst physics and level design in a sonic game. Open zones are blatantly an excuse for padding.
The super sonic boss fights kick ass though, for what that's worth.

The graphics are a nice upgrade from 5, the line of sight is a welcome addition, and the new alchemist and druid towers are nice. I personally preferred tokens over the new skill tree system, but that isn't to say the skill tree is bad by any means. The three upgrade paths add a lot of variety, and the 5th upgrades are an interesting addition, although I haven't found any opportunity to use them outside of freeplay and sandbox. The hero towers are a good enough idea, though they aren't very notable compared to the rest of the changes and additions.
Removing snap freeze makes the ice tower actually useful, which is very nice. Though there are a few downsides to some of the changes, mostly the removal of the engineer monkey (which they may add in a later update, who knows?). I would also complain about the lack of co-op, but co-op has been announced recently and seems to have improvements over co-op in 5, so that complaint no longer applies.
Lastly, there was a double cash mode that you could purchase with in-game money in 5. That mode still exists in 6, but you have to spend more than $10 on it with no other method of obtaining it, which is beyond ridiculous.
Overall, an enjoyable game with many improvements over 5. With co-op being added, I would confidently recommend this game to anyone who enjoyed BTD5.
