Bravo. What a lovely game, and the glow up from Undertale and Chapter 1 is noticeable. Doesn't make them worse, they're all great! Even by duration, each chapter is close to Undertale in length.
In absolute love with everything about them. The style, the music, the characters, the stories, the gameplay. Very few games manage to pull of the right mix of them, and it really just gets better each chapter!
Thank you so much for the great EVERYTHING <3 it has also helped my heart ache less lately...

Absolutely loved this game.
The atmosphere, the aesthetics, the music, the choices, the character and her surroundings.
It's just a beautiful work of art.
Seriously, if you're on the fence on buying it or not, simply play the first episode that is free. If you digged it, go ahead. No way you'll regret it after that!
Enjoy the journey.

This game is a beautiful labor of love in every single way.
The music, the aesthetics, the gameplay - It's not overly obtuse nor complex, and the game flow is super chill.
You can go far with intuition and not having to check a guide, it's forgiving on trial and error :)

One of the best, if not *the* game of choice for co-op honestly.
If you are in need of a pure, wholesome experience, or just need to relax from anything, this game should be perfect match for you.

nice game. good atmosphere and good music
just don't bother engaging with entitled survivors and don't camp/tunnel for no good reason and you're good to go

This is honestly one if not *the* best MMORPG I've ever played.
It's partly nostalgia - I won't deny that. But I've already spent my share of hundreds of hours before the Steam release and I must say that this is indeed a good game, and it's in good hands.
The team behind it is composed of players who are passionate and or have been in the company for a long while, and the love for their game clearly shows. Not everyone may agree with some of their changes, be it new content or rebalance, but most of the time they try to pivot to what's best for the overall health of the game.

If you're looking for a game with "modern graphics" then this isn't the game for you. It was originally made to be able to be downloaded and played on computers almost 20 years ago, so go figure.
The music is really nice, it's very atmospheric for the places it's in.

As for ingame content itself, my biggest love for this game is in its Quests. The humor and storytelling in them is 10/10 honestly, and if I could freely replay all of them one day, I wouldn't think about it twice 😁.

The game is not for everyone though, as most MMORPGs, you're expected to *grind* to go for anything truly meaningful, and I think this is something that keeps this game from going to WoW's levels of magnitude of playerbase. Most early levels are breeze fast, and then... you'll hit a hard stump. And not even going to bother talking about skills such as Mining, Runecrafting and Agility... very slow skills, and way too much monotony. You'll need to find a way for you to spice the game to your like in order to push through it... if you want to, of course. You should never feel forced to play a game.

New players advice: don't feel pressured to follow a guide or something quickly, try to discover things by yourself, I really mean this. If you want to learn about something, feel free to check the wiki, I think you can even hotlink to it from the game itself since a few months ago. OH, and don't cross to the Wilderness if you don't want to lose your items!

Feel free to leave a comment if you're looking for advice :-) This is my first bit-in-depth review I've ever done for a game. Because it really deserves one.

This game is awesome. The ambience, the music. The quotes. They've helped me many times trying to... find an answer. To something. To anything. It's very special to me. And Today, I'm going to jump in it again. Because I need answers.

January 2024 Edit:

TL;DR - If you really want to simply enjoy the game and do *NOT* want to feel any real struggles (as in difficulty), skip challenge and soliloquy modes. soliloquy throws whatever you've done for the entire game out of the window, and well, challenge mode are challenges

I've beat Resilience, Transcendence... and most importantly, the new Soliloquy mode.

Resilience and Transcendence are hard. I'm glad I got them out of my way...
However, Soliloquy is suffering. The game completely shifts from whatever you knew before and throws you in a way to play it that f**ks with your brain because you have to throw *half* of how you used to play away.

The best way I found out is to instead of playing reactively like you have to do in the entirety of the game basically. You need to start moving in the pattern you have to as soon as you're in the correct range of the blocks. Realizing that was harder than it read.

I'm partially angry at myself because of how hard I struggled, but seriously. Props to the devs for that 10 year gift. I've known this game for so long and I always came back to it - and for good reasons.

Used to be a negative review when game launched, now I'm correcting it

I kinda miss the old art style, but they kept the fidelity to it.

It has massive QoL improvements, most notably for me is the queue system for actions, mostly using it for villagers to build houses and then go back to harvesting

Keep on, I love it

Nice BUT runs super badly on my 1050, had to resize the game in order to get 60FPS fluidly
