Path of Exile has the most replayability in any game I have ever played before.

It scratches the itch of grinding for a reward. This is true in the beginning where it's small grinding for large leaps in power, all the way to the very end where it might take a ton of grinding just to eke out a small amount more of power while you are min/maxing.

Been playing since 2016, and I have learned a lot. One of the great things about PoE is that you learn something new each league you play, and no I'm not just talking about the new stuff they add. I love that you kinda just can't know everything, it presents a mountain you get to keep climbing and get higher in, but you're never gonna reach the peak.

Game is free to try, if you are serious about playing, probably around $50 to $80 on tabs is all you need to have an amazing experience.

Be mindful of your wrist, this game has a large amount of clicking. I switched to a vertical mouse because of this game and what 7 years did to my wrist. Basically just don't be dumb, take breaks.

It's on a good cycle, you play a lot during a new league and have your fun, then you drop it for a few months so as not to induce burnout, then you start the whole cycle again.

Highly recommend going as far into maps as you can if this is your first time, don't stop at the end of act 10 and think that is the end of the game, that is only the beginning.

At the end of the day, it's a game that wants to make money, but the devs at GGG remind me more of old school devs, they don't only want to make money, they also want to put out the best product possible, sometimes they mess up, but the cool thing about them is they feel human, they don't seem like a corporate entity like Blizzard.

I don't think I will ever have another game I can play for this many years and still be in love with it. The game has tons of flaws, but it also gave me my favorite gaming experiences I've ever had.

So yeah, it's kinda an OK game.

I've only played with two characters so far, but if you like the original game, you're most likely going to love this one as well.

Early Access Review
I bought this game because I enjoyed the dungeon runs in Hearthstone, and thought this might be fun for a few hours. Even coming from Hearthstone, this game was a challenge for me when I first got the game, but it was so much fun.

It's been about 6 months since I bought Slay the Spire, and without a doubt in my mind it's the best $15 I ever spent on Steam. Every time you play it's different, and even after all this time, I'm still finding new ways to play each class.

If you like Hearthstone and The Binding of Isaac, I'm fairly confident you will enjoy this game.

The dev has been adding new content since I purchased the game, and just this past week(end of Nov 2018) he added the fourth act, that really makes you think ahead in order to complete it.

So is this my favorite game ever? Probably not. Is this my favorite game I've bought for $15? Most definitely.

If you have a lot of friends over it's great!

Sometimes we'll load it up and stream it over twitch and play with friends in different states.

Wait for it to be on sale.

I've been playing Hearthstone for about a year and a half. Thought this would just be a copy. It's very different.

I still like Hearthstone more, but this is a very fun game.

I love tower defense games, but I did not like this one. Seemed really bland.
