it being free is the only reason i recommend this game. its pretty boring without mods/cc/expansion packs but its worth it considering you no longer have to pay for the base game. there's many things to explore in the sims and if you're a first time player you will probably quite enjoy it, but after a while it does get boring. the dlc is insanely expensive, none of the kits are worth it (in my own opinion!) and if you dont have any add-ons this game will tire you out pretty fast.

that being said, if you have custom content and mods and all that jazz this game can be really enjoyable, i just find the price of the add-ons very stupid and the entire game not really worth it without them. (like i said though, considering its free now its still worth a try!)

very very fun game imo!! although its a game reliant on completion with different endings & the initial playthrough is very fast. (i completed it in 1-2 hours) if you like games with different hidden endings then i do recommend this, but i would get it on a sale :)

this game ended a lot quicker than i thought it would... i just completed the game at 3.1 hours, at least half an hour of that being me googling where to put things lol

i do love this game a lot, and i think if you need something to pass time it's great for you! but i would definitely wait for a sale, not worth full price imo.
