this is one of the craziest things ive ever played, calling it an experience almost feels like an understatement
ive seen a lot of playthroughs of gameswhere the actual game messes with your computer and stuff, but this is the first time ive actually played one

terrifying

It was good, but a lot of things that were in the game felt like the developers said "why the ♥♥♥♥ not?" and added a bunch of random stuff that felt really unfair (though this is dark souls). Im mainly just salty about pontiff sulyvahn taking me 2 and a half hours to beat and nameless king taking me about the same time
also plin plin plon hit hard on the final boss

I really only bought this because of a certain game that made me think this would be a cakewalk (cough cough deepwoken) but it made me realize that it was the other way around. Anyways plin plin plon

For a while i've been avoiding this game, because i didnt think it was fast paced anough to my liking.
I was wrong.
Game was amazing, def play if you like fps games and would like a challenge.

Oh my focken god this game was amazing.
Ill start with the story. So slight mistake on my part, i didnt play ac1 and i dont actually know if the story started there. But still this game's story was really interesting. Especially the ending, gave me chills. I really liked Ezio as a character and he fit in REALLY well in here.

The soundtrack is really, really awesome. The game does kinda take place in the future and the past, and i like that they combine instruments from the future and the past, like electric guitar, flute, the writers were geniuses in making this.

Also, i dont know if i just missed it, but the controls werent really explained thoroughly. In the beginning of the game where youre racing with your brother (or friend, i dont remember) youhave to parkour on top of a building, and i had to redo that mission several times because i didnt understand the controls. Kinda weird to have your sprinting key as RMB but its whatever, i couldve always changed it but i stuck to it. I eventually got the hang of it so it was all good.

Battles were fun as hell. The weapon play was really fun too, you have to kinda get used to it, but thats what i liked about it. The parrying was my favorite part. Really added variety to how you strategize your fight. Some enemies were higher in ranks and armor so they couldnt be one shotted - more variety.

The game wasnt hard to beat, but it wasnt easy, either. You had to work to get armor, weapons, ammo, heals so there was more to do in the game. Doing the puzzles for the Armor of Altair were fun as ♥♥♥♥ too, some were more difficult, like the one in Romagnia. My favorite one was in the church.

So, in short, although the game is pretty old, its worth a shot. Its kinda tedious with controls and such, but its still really, really good.
Also, if its on sale, then its really a no brainer.

First id like to adress the music because oh my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god is it beautiful, it always just fits to whatever youre doing and always fits the mood so much, from calm and slow to when youre just walking around and to intesne whenever youre fighting - its amazing.

I like that the game is more focused towards combat, it never really got boring because every fight and bossfight always feels like something new and never gets old (unless you start farming a boss, but thats not my point). The weapons are different in their own way and i think its brilliant that armour sets give you a set bonus for completing that exact armour set.

Another thing that makes the game even better is the accesories, which, according to what type of player you are, (melee, ranged, summoner, mage, rouge) give you advantages with a variety of accesories. Accesories always have something about them, that sets them apart from the others, for example one accesory gives you more mana, the other does more damage, others let you fly or dash.

There is grinding in the game, and sometimes it does take awhile to get what you need, but it is really rewarding.

Theres a lot of things i didnt mention because theres just so much, like the bosses, enemies, npcs, quests.
But long story short, the game is worth your money, if you like an rpg based on combat and overall skill.
