All I have to say is that in my opinion this is a great remaster. My pc is starting to get old these days and it runs really well, so it seems well optimised. Graphically it is amazing, I love the new graphics while maintaining the feel of the original. To me that last part is the most important, the feel, this game isnt Skyrim, it isnt trying to be for the people that never originally played Oblivion and I'm happy with that, to me there are aspects of Skyrim that i prefer, but im pleased they arent in this, I love feeling like im back on my old Xbox360 as a kid. If i want a different ES experience I can hop over to another game. For now this is exactly what it needs to be.

I hate to admit how many times ive not only bought this game, but how many times ive played it. If you've never played it, then it really is an experience that i cant recommend enough. My hours on pc really dont reflect how much time ive put into this game, but it really is worth it.

Is good, much play, very wow.

The game is stunning from the opening cut scenes to the first moments of game play. The combat is briefly challenging, however fluid and fun once you learn what you are doing. The use of the potions and oils for a strategic advantage really make you feel immersed in the role of being a Witcher. Whilst combat and RPG elements are rewarding, sometimes non combat movement can be janky, but overall the game is a dream to play and provides enough content for many hours of game play.
At the time of writing this I am halfway through the DLC and it holds true to the high standards of the base game.
