I can honestly say that you should not waste your time playing Ark ascended. The main reason is that the only thing Wildcard has been able to achieve is to make the game look nice. With the last two map updates, they have not been able to fix any of the major issues on those maps. As well there are still a lot of major issues with the game itself. I've suffered from crashes at literally the worst time and they've not fixed any of the mashing issues. Wildcard is literally more obsessed with making cash and can't even deliver on their release schedule. Ark ascended is literally just a copy and paste from the original game. I just recommend playing that instead.
