OK folks, it isn't perfect but it's current gen and... IT WORKS ON STEAM DECK. I only play solo/offline and mostly exhibition games. I just want to pop in and play some hoops. It works. I've been waiting for portable NBA2K for like 12 years, and finally we have it. PHEW. Thanks for porting the modern gen version to Steam this year!

Massive improvement in the launch v1 version compared to the early access. Feels like a real game. Read others comparing it to Dark Souls in VR and yes this probably is the closest I've experienced. There seem to be pretty deep systems and loot, though I am just getting started. The overall impression in the opening hours is very polished and engrossing, I recommend picking this one up if you are looking for an open world RPG in VR with physics-based combat and magic.

Instant all-time classic! I am still in the first act of the game but it's obvious how much detail, care, and quality was poured into this game. This isn't just a game, it's a grand adventure that can be replayed again and again for years to come. Larian has cemented its legacy as one of the top flight studios ever.

I've been playing games like this since I was a kid in the 90's (King's Bounty on Sega Genesis and Heroes of Might & Magic series on PC were favorites). I wanted to love those games but It was rare to have a play-through in those games that was satisfying. This game is like the ultimate evolved idealized version of those games, where it's engaging and fun each time. It took 10+ hours to even learn the basics, and there are still many possibilities I haven't even looked at. The amount of depth and replay-ability here is ridiculous. This is a true masterpiece of the genre and I expect I will play it for years to come.

My first impressions are very positive. I enjoyed playing through the first few levels, which were challenging and fun. With Starship Troopers vibes throughout, it brews together Halo-inspired FPS action with Command & Conquer style strategy, all in co-op. And you can get in a mech. And it's in VR. I've gotten a little jaded lately with the PCVR scene, but this game gives me renewed hope.

I haven't gotten to experience many of the weapons and it's hard to tell how many maps there are. The fact that a map-builder is included and community maps are easy to find means that there's potentially a ton of replay. It can be a bit much to balance all the different systems with enemies coming at you, but that can be overcome by playing co-op.

Feedback:
- the default conquer map didn't load me in during multiplayer. Stuck on loading screen. Happened several times, I had to hard quit
- the left-hand mode magazine eject button is mapped to the right hand which is not intuitive. Recommend adding the option to remap all buttons, or just swap the face button mappings for left-handed mode.
- I'd love to see a deeper story in the campaign

This game is a classic. I've had a hard time getting into games in this genre in the past, but this one has me hooked. I would probably vote to nerf the invincible bag/chest gimmick that allows you to cheese through the game, but I choose not to use it and the combat is incredibly satisfying. The writing, music, and voice acting are superb.

What a joy of a game. Funny, fun, beautiful, and heart-felt. Seriously in competition with the Insomniac Spider-Man games for best superhero video game!

A multiple award-winner for a reason. This isn't really my favorite genre, but I still find it extremely enjoyable to play. They've really nailed multiple types of game-play loops and the sleight of hand in controlling the difficulty curve to pace it just right is nothing short of magical.

I originally played this at launch on PS4. Obviously it wasn't what I had hoped for at the time, but I still appreciated it's vibe. There aren't many games that are enjoyably calming, and NMS was.

Fast forward several years, and now the game that had been relatively minimal now overflows with abundant variety. I love how distinct the planets now feel and how many different kinds of activities there are to do. And you can play it in VR!? Amazing! I love this both in flat form and playing over Virtual Desktop with Quest 2. Hats off to Hello Games for keeping the faith and building an amazing game.

I played through Fallout 4 when it came out. At this point it's been years and I don't remember it all that well. Playing in VR is a thrill! Sure, it isn't a ground up game and it shows, but the exploring, combat, looting, crafting loop is more fun than ever. I haven't had many technical problems and am not using any mods. Quest w/ virtual desktop.
