Can't believe dev called himself "SuperWriter". There's nothing "super" about writing and after first ~30 minutes I wanted to give up but it happened a bit later (I don't usually drop games like this, it's just very boring). For some reason after that amount of time smth has changed, but just a little and you start to notice some human-like dialogues. Still, the writer make r/dadjokes run for its money. Puns like "Perving Company" and "Buster Himen" will make you cringe a lot. Tons of stupid cliche phrases and sentences. Poor and random choices without any intuitive background. I've played with mod that shows right choice. I guess dev wanted to sell that walkthrough DLC badly.

Story isn't very exciting neither ingenious. Sex scenes are mostly boring, nothing special here, except dev try to stall them for as long as possible, 'cause he truly believes his game is realistic.

No sound at all.

No animations. Renders are average. Okay-ish female models. And again - very rare and boring sex scenes with awkward angles.

4/10

Not recommended.

Another little (5 minute investigation) of AVN developer and his work slacking :)

The promises regarding next Season:
https://imgur.com/a/IJY1oSE
Reality after 7 months:
https://imgur.com/a/NE17RTu

He said 7,000 renders in 10 months, but as of Episode 6 (mind you) Beta it's 532 renders, which is ~13% of 7,000. Can he make another 6,5k renders in 3 months ? I doubt and even if he could - he won't.

Imma explain. Everything is pretty simple. He's gonna take his sweet time and milk every single penny out of his backers on Patreon. Depression, fever, burn out, faulty HDD, break up with girlfriend, vacation, irl stuff, ill mother etc will pop at his socials and prolly here. Along with that various castings, votes, discussion will happen, but only one thing will be missing - actual progress in development. Why to sweat or commit to any obligations, when you can just keep telling the tales and have, maybe, 1 other person (just trying to humor you here a bit) working on the game at leisure.

If "Season 2" won't be released in one year I doubt it ever will be.

I will be glad if I'm wrong, but only time will tell.

So uhm..it's very short, but amount of words and renders is right here in the description. 20 min for a walkthrough.

Although I didn't dislike it, there's not much special about this one, except diversity of the assets. Writing is okay, "story" is..there, sort of. Visuals are pleasant. There's music, but it would've fit better for a WoW Raid or some frag movie, than for this kind of game. Also present sound during scene.

Quote from dev:
"I've been in the industry for around 4 years now working on various other projects and The Cabin is my first solo project ( or rather starter as my first solo project, I've since took on a writer who's doing wonders :P ). I've seen a lot of devs make a game with 500 renders and charge $8 for it and I'm like... wut? Even though myself and Wizzard ( the writer ) have put a lot of time into the cabin and Emi I'd never want to charge to much. Originally I wanted to sell Emi for $2.49 but steam didn't have that option so rather than go for $2.99 I opted for $1.99 because I felt $2.99 was a tad to much."

Didn't play the second game, it's still under development, but you can find it here if curious:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2121100/The_Cabin__Summer_Vacation__Episode_2/

Weird thing is that they've planned 10 episodes for The Cabin, but Steam page for another game is already here as well:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2323050/Nordstrums_Treasure/

I didn't follow the news around this dev and the games so can't tell more regarding reliability etc right know.

Bought at release day, played couple weeks ago.

Liked eastern theme very much. Fun characters and items, as always; pleasant music, no heavy grind for trophies. What else do you need ? :)

What the actual ♥♥♥♥ ? First devs whored themselves to Epic. Now me and my friend spent 10 minutes to figure out why cant we play together and after that I checked forums and people posted that the servers are probably down. 15 min time window out of couple of years this game exists and this happening, at Sunday evening. Best company, hands down.
There's zero indication in-game that could tell you that servers are off and on top of that, the issue persists for at least 24 hours, according to forum post.

Not gonna simp over this one like many other reviewers.

Great game, no questions asked. Good writing, very dramatic and interesting story, likeable characters, very pleasant soundtrack and okay combat. BUT ! In order to reach "True" Ending you need to complete game 5 times. One time fully with young protagonist part plus grown up protag part. In 3 following playthroughs you repeat only the second part and will get a small amount of story content, previously unseen. Plus one different part of the story, where all content is new.
- in Route B it will be another perspective on the events from Shades' pov + Kaine and Emil text dreams, i.e. you only read, no cutscenes, nothing. It reveal and deepen both characters even further. Plus a small cutscene at the end.
- in Route C everything from Route B + new P&D dialogues + new Emil text dream + a bit altered version of Louise fight and following 30 sec cutscene + new bossfight at the end with 2 possible endings if you've collected all weapons or 1 if you didn't. For completionists and those stubborn bastards, who wanna experience everything on their own: you must choose KILL in Route C, if you got 2 options.
- in Route D everything you got on C plus several new Yonah's diary entries. I'm not sure on this one, maybe they were present on C as well and I just didn't notice. You get the new version of the cutscene with letter from Route C. To get to next Route you need to get all weapons in the game and choose Sacrifice your own existence after the last fight. Please read carefully, game will warn that this will erase all of your saves.
- to start Route E you have to start a new game with a different protag name, play roughly 1.5-2 hours to kill a boss in Aerie and the new Route will start. In best case it's 1 hour of gameplay and it leads to the True Ending. The cherry on the cake - you play as Kaine . Also devs added references to Automata.

To summarize: you have to spend no less than 14-16 hours of non stop, story only, speedy play to get to Route E. It will take more than that, just wanted to give approximate numbers.
There's no lvl scaling, and you keep everything between playthroughs. You will grow only stronger and stronger. The only exception is one or two bosses, but they won't bring your any troubles. Aside of new boss on Route C & D everything is the same. You spend most time running, even moving those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boxes in Lost Shrine and skipping dialogues. Fighting is the least time consuming activity on subsequent playthroughs. Oh and you can't skip after game credits. Not a single time.
All "new" content, different from Route A, that Routes B-D offers will grant you 50-60 min of new content at best. Remove text Dreams - 20-30 min. Of course 1 additional hour on Route E.

In total up to 2 hours of content in exchange to 15+ hours of repetitive grind. It's NOT worth it and I stay firm on this one.
3 playthroughs in Automata were more than enough to disclose everything necessary.

Devs should've made Route A + Route B with 2 possible endings instead of additional Routes C&D and start Route E automatically without 2 hours grind. 3 playthroughs instead of 5, 10 saved hours - same experience, without desire to puke. Ending C leads basically nowhere. And they could've tuck cutscene from B somewhere, not a problem.

It totally slipped my mind, but there're small DLC's after Route A or later. To access first you need to access Diary in Nier's (protag) home, where you play 3 or 4 small "arenas" as Nier Gestalt or Daddy Nier, who was the protag at the old, western version of the game, instead of Brother. Also required for Route E, since it has weapon(-s?) as reward. Completing all will take 20-25 mins max.
Second DLC (?) is a minigame where you ride on a Boar and ram Sheeps. Each sheep - 100 gold.

TL;DR: you should buy it, beat game once, watch all other cutscenes and endings on YouTube.

PS: one thing that confused me - when Kaine swearing in japanese voice over, it's bleeped. I thought it was some kind of censorship, but it appears this was only made with 1 purpose - humor :)

Mafuyu > Saori.

"A bit" late review for a long awaited game.

The story is insanely good. I like it much more than Lost Judgment story, which is good, but in different way. This plot feels very personal for protagonist, because of number of reasons. Gotta play to figure that out. The script contains unexpected twists and will surprise you quite often. Story battle encounters are so ♥♥♥♥' intense I just can't describe my excitement with words. Epic ride.

Characters are very likeable, voice cast did incredible job. I can't even tell who was my favorite but since we already figured out that Mafuyu is the best girl, couple words about her. At the end of the game I understood that her playful and kind personality won me over. Just hoped more or her in next game, BUT do not make my mistake. She had 3-5 minutes of screen time in LJ. It's depressing sht, so cherish your gal, til you can. Saori is cold, but funny. Resolute and smart.

Yagami-san didn't disappoint. Bright mind, fast legs and fists. Good sense of humor. Can go on and on, but let's say he won't disappoint anyone. Good written character.

Worry not, there's still a good portion of goofyness in Sub Stories. There's also a new (?) Friends system, which I personally liked. While befriending people around town you will gain a certain goodies, such as materials, money, heat restoration if you meet them in town and even sidekicks on a streets of Kamurocho. Etc.

A lot of minigames are back from old Yakuza, sorry, Like a Dragon games. Karaoke is not on the list unfortunately. I guess Johnny & Associates asked for some cosmic amounts of money for Takuya Kimura singing.
Back to it. There's two new minigames I'd like to mention. These are Drone Racing and VR Paradise. Races are pretty chill and fun until you're going for last championship with that golden drone broken AI. I still loved it, water under the bridge. There's customization for performance and bit for visual appearance. Devs also scaterred a lot of QR codes in city for you to discover and scan with your drone in order to get upgrade schematics.
VR paradise is Suits and Ladders analogue. Throw dice, move. Fight, get prizes or lose everything earned this match. Also, cool cyber cats.

Combat. There are only 2 styles, but it's already more than Kiwami 2 and Y6 gave us. It's better, more flashy and still can't carry any weapons. Ngl, I had my fun, no complaints, although it gets much much better in the next game.

Visually game looks great, except characters' hair. In next game DLSS, FSR and XESS make hair look like pixelated spaghetti and I guess I wanted to play so badly that didn't put any attention in this title.

Things I didn't like:
- Mortal wounds. New system which reduce your maximum health if you was shot by a gun, steel arms (? don't remember) or received a damage from Boss' special attack, when they in heat mode. You need to see a Doc to cure it and can buy medpacks from him, but they may cost ya at the start of the game. You get several as DLC (included in game). Most bs part is swarming street encounters, when you didn't notice like the guy in the back pulled out the gun couple seconds after the battle started. Well, that will be 20k. System is removed in next game.
- Thumb turn bypass. Broken piece of ♥♥♥♥. Very bad with controller, a bit easier with mouse and minimum sensitivity in options + lowest DPI. The fact this thing is present in VR Paradise as a reward tile is "mildly infuriating".
- Money. You can't unlock all skills without grinding VR or other source of income. It's not critical, there's no hardcore encounters (almost), but still unpleasant. If you're going for platinum, that's what will take most of your time. Investing tons of cash into a stupid scyscraper, which does nothing.
- Tailing. Every single one of them except two were basically the same. Long and boring.

TL;DR: buy.

As usual Imma drop couple tracks from OST I liked (don't go in comments, to avoid spoilers regarding Boss Encounter):

Sega and RGG, we love your games and glad you raised salaries for your employees. But your regional pricing became somewhat unreasonable. I bought Y0-6 for full. LAD with -25%. But these two games cost prob more than all previous together ("old" price before increase). Skipped Kaito Files because it's rip off. I know you don't care, but we, in Ukraine, kinda, have a war going on and our currency went to sht. So if by any miracle you would see this, reconsider the prices.

Change review to Positive since devs listened to the community.

Incredibly fun game. Bought couple days ago.Was super excited about the new update, that came out this evening, until I played it...I wanna watch the stream with the devs, who play the new level with EACH character having under 200 leaves upgrades. They prolly played with everything maxed out and called it a day.Review the balance of the latest level, devs.PS: beat it, but no longer interested in this game
Returned to game after several months and I liked everything I saw in Adventure mode. Didnt bother with Ragnarok mode. They also added custom, where you can handicap yourself in several ways in exchange for boosted leaves drop rate. Currency for permanent hero upgrades.

Judging by forums, people frustrated with Daily run challenge. Main complaints are cheaters in leaderboard and difficulty. Didnt try, can't comment. It also gives something for completion but idk what that is, no explanation given.

New realm is added, one more is being tested these days. 2 new heroes. Summoner is very cute and strong character.

Give it a go, Adventure mode is so so worth it. For cheevo hunters: everything can be earned in Adventure. Couple trophies require you to just launch other game modes. No play or win needed.

Can't wait to see what's next.
Couple screenshots. And...maybe people with photosensitivity shouldn't play this.

"I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite store on the Citadel"

Oh boy...I dunno where to start.

I got a friend who's not (was not xd) into space theme, but he played all the trilogy, then played Andromeda and Outer Worlds.

I played original games long time ago so this was my second playthrough.

I'm not good with words but Imma try my best.

Also. I highly recommend to visit Nexusmods and install Community Patches. They contain literally hundreds of bugfixes and I didn't play without them so can't say much about vanilla experience. After more than 150 hours maybe I had one minor issue and I don't even remember what it was.

Best description about these games is "Space Odyssey".

It's an incredible adventure, where choices you make will follow you for the entire journey. Small decisions in first game will have consequences for some characters in ME2 and ME3. More important choices during story missions will have bigger impact and that will affect how the plot develop. For example you may finish one of the games with all companions alive or with almost all dead. Recently one dude posted screenshot which shows that he killed almost every crew member but stayed alive, which isn't an easy task :D
I guess after all that text I should mention that you import your character and decisions from one game to the next.

Shower thoughts, I'll try to keep it shorter further.
ME1 is introduction to the universe and serves it's role as exposition. You will meet a lot of different and cool races, will learn about the politics, how is society organized etc.
There's a karma system across all three games. You can make Renegade or Paragon choices. There're also karma skill checks in different conflicts which requires you to have a certain amount of points in order to success in persuasion.
It's an interesting title with a lot of mysteries and each one only produces more questions.
Visually this game was remastered but don't expect too much. Everything looked okay. I have no complaints.
Worst thing in ME1 is Mako missions. Clunky and just awful controls. All investigated planets have curved hills and most often you must cross them to investigate POI. It's just a pain even with mod.
Story is a blast. Just go and see.
Gameplay is fun, biotic is so OP in ME1.

ME2 was my favorite game among trinity.
Structure of the game is quite weird: beiggest part - companion loyalty missions. They aren't mandatory but I highly suggest to complete them.
The last story mission is one of the best things I've ever seen for past 20 years in games. Epic, badass, breathtaking. I had the chills all over my body although I already seen it. The music is so good..my favorite track from the trilogy.
Tip: postpone Tali's loyalty mission and bring Legion to the Migrant Fleet.

ME3 is my new favorite. Because of controversial ending I wanted to forget the game and never touch it again and I succeeded..in the former part.
When I replayed it recently..wow...just wow. Such an incredible atmosphere of desperation and hopelesness. The heroic pathos in ME2 and ME3 is just on another level. You can feel it and it excites every cell in you body.
Amount of different variables to solve conflicts in this game is just insane. When you don't know what you're doing, may end up a bit disappointed, but surprised nonetheless.
Gameplay wise this is my favorite game. 2nd was overtuned on Insanity and it was very big pain in the ass.

Director's cut ending of the Trilogy is ok, but I still feel bad for some characters and their fate.

I highly suggest you to check WHEN to play DLC in ME2 and ME3 because it won't make sense to complete them asap.

Best characters with no specific order: Mordin, Tali, EDI. Legion is in its own league. I also love the feud between Jack and Miranda. Joker is okay as well :)

I wish you all the best experience with this masterpiece. Just go and buy it already :)
PS: huge library of ME screenshots. SPOILER alert ! No images are concealed.
