Fun to casually play and collect cards over time. I started playing this because I'm a huge fan of Family Guy. Lol.

Game is extremely pay to win as there is a limited amount of times you can play in the arena and adventure mode before your energy runs out and you have to wait or pay money to replenish your energy bar. Arena mode pairs you up with a random player but there's no real-time PVP. Cards are extremely unbalanced to do PVP anyways, and there's not really any sort of battle strategy involved in this game.

There aren't any ads on the steam version so there are less features compared to the mobile version, such as opening mythic crate and speeding up research times.

Game is oddly satisfying, although it would be better if there were longer energy bars and extra rewards from completing quests and battles.

Overall, I would recommend this if you are someone who is patient and have self-control, enjoy collecting cards, and/or are a fan of Fox animation shows.

I don't recommend this game if do you plan on spending any money. This game will literally eat your wallet.

Poor writing and character development. Story follows the player and his high school best friend, Emily. They head off into college separately while staying in contact via online.

This might be triggering for some, as there are mentions of a toxic relationship.

(SPOILERS) Emily heads into an abusive relationship with Brad and vents to the player. During each chapter, she laments on what could have happened if she was with the player instead. She eventually admits that she has feelings for player, and there is an option for player to admit that too.

The problem with this is Emily shows no sign of moving on. She's written as a character who's incapable of being self-sufficient. The story is written linearly so that the player and Emily are meant to be together at the wrong time. This brings a cliche and cheesy romance trope.

I like the AIM-style messaging gameplay here but everything else is terribly written.

FFXIV is a awesome game. Great for newcomers and veterans of the Final Fantasy franchise. This game is subscription-based, which helps devs consistently deliver updates for the game worldwide, and across all platforms (Windows, Mac, and PS4). The lowest price base game you can get is the Starter Edition for $19.99 which includes free 30-day game time.

Whether its a digital or physical copy, it is best to buy FFXIV off their official website here,[na.finalfantasyxiv.com] since it has more purchase options and so that FFXIV doesnt get a tax cut from Steam.

Welcome to Eorzea, have fun adventures & travels!~
