Probably one of the very few 60 year old gamers that you'll meet in the Day of Infamy and Insurgency/Sandstorm games. :steamhappy:

FPS gaming is just one of my pastimes and my first experience with multi-player gaming was with the:

- Aliens Vs Predators in 1999
- Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear in early 2000,
- the original Ghost Recon series in 2001

Back then I was on the Windows 98 platform, using a rather vintage Intel Celeron 400 processor (overclocked to 450 MHz) + Nvidia TNT2 graphics card and connected to the Internet via a V.56 dial up modem (56Kbps).

If you are familiar with the first generation Celeron (Mendocino), TNT2 and Windows '98 when they first came out, you're likely to be in your late thirties or early forties, so you know what I'm talking about! :steammocking:

Current hardware used:

Primary: ASUS B-150I Aura (Intel Core i5-7600, GeForce GTX1060/6GB, 16GB DDR4 memory).

Secondary: ASUS ROG G551-JM gaming laptop (Intel Core i7-4710HQ, GeForce GTX860M, 8GB DDR3 memory).

I no longer have an interest in overclocking my rig, preferring a more stable and compact PC setup rather than getting a few hundred MHz out of the processor with oversized heat sinks and extra fans. With the exception of my current Core i5-7600 desktop PC, all my previous Intel/Nvidia rigs were overclocked.

When I'm not playing DoI or Sandstorm, I'm most likely to be on Flickr where I have an active Pro account since 2009. I don't own that many games on Steam as I don't have the time to play all of them. :steambored:
