I've wanted to get into fighting games for years. I've tried and played a lot, but usually fall off fast when it's time to take the fight online. The panic ensues and I just can't think of any of the combos I've learned during practice or solo mode.

Enter Street Fighter 6! It changed the formula so much for people like me who don't have thousands of hours to sink just to learn a single character. Thanks to its introduction the extremely fun World Tour (solo mode), I'm finally able to learn on the fly without spending tons of hours in the Practice mode. Sure, eventually if I want to break into the higher ranks online I'll have to buckle down and practice. But World Tour just gives you such a great base to stand on that it won't be that tedious. And did I mention? World Tour is a full on fighting RPG ... and it's hella great!

Oh, and let's not forget that Capcom have enhanced the Practice mode quite a lot. Now you can specifically choose what you want to focus on. Like using Character Guides to figure out what a character is like, or using Combo Trials to learn combo lines for a character you enjoy. The Training mode also has some game changers like setting the combat speed to 50%, which is awesome for practicing timing.

I'll just say this once now - THANK GOD FOR MODERN CONTROLS! I know it gets a lot of hate, but because of modern controls I've finally been able to kind of get into (and genuinely have fun with) a fighting game. They allow players to do special attacks with super simple button combinations. You won't have as much flexibility as with the Classic Controls - yes, but you won't need to remember the button combinations for every move while you're getting your butt kicked.

So, yes, I recommend Street Fighter 6 to anyone interested in trying out fighting games. It's a great game to start your journey and see if it's something you enjoy. And if it's not - well World Tour is enough to get your money's worth out of the game anyway.

An enjoyable and relaxing fishing game. The awesome art style contributes quite a bit to the wholesomeness and atmosphere. Truly, what could go wrong?

Marvel SNAP is the most addictive and yet simple experience I've had with a game in a long time. It's an easy-to-learn card game that hides its complexities within its large assortment of locations.

Every game will present you with a quick 3-4 minute puzzle, that you and your opponent will need to solve - obviously I'm talking about getting the most points with the cards and locations drawn. It's genius in its simplicity and yet scratches that itch of outsmarting your opponent much of the time. Same goes when you're outsmarted, you can't help but clap, emote, and move on to the next game.

The SNAP mechanic, while clever in its own right is not my thing, though. I guess I'm just not interested in climbing ranks. What drives me to keep playing is to just experience those 5 minute dopamine hits where you and your opponent make the most out of the cards you have. Even though the deck size is so small (only 12 cards!) it offers enough variety that every game is an adaptability test and no round plays in a boring manner, no matter how used you are to your deck.

I'd recommend the game wholeheartedly on mobile, but do be careful playing it through the Steam Early Access build, since a lot of people are still reporting issues with it. I'm sure that next year we'll see an awesome remake of the PC client and the game will get a large surge of popularity from it. Keep an eye on the early access version, or start playing on mobile; IT'S HELLA FUN!

An amazing game with astonishing art. Supergiant have outdone themselves this time!

I love and have played every game they've made so far, but this one just takes the freakin' cake. From the thrilling and diverse combat to the witty and charming conversations you have with every character. It's truly and unforgettable experience that will keep you coming back for more.

Just give this game a try, even if you aren't a rogue-like fan it'll most likely suck you in thanks to all of the other progressions and interactions within the hub space. Not gonna lie, I have really high expectations for Supergiant at this point, but if at this rate I'm sure they'll be able to deliver.

Great card game! Unique design and art style. Has single player content, as well as the regular pvp matches. On top of that, there's a co-op mode where you join forces with a friend to go vs a boss. The game never feels grindy on the count that it has so much variety. Cards are easy to collect and offer plenty of options when it comes to deck building.

Overall: 5/5 - Would recommend wholeheartedly

Vampyr is an interesting beast. It's supposed to be an RPG and we see elements of it, yet through the social mechanic of the game and the relatioships between everyone in London it feels more like a mystery game. There is a story - sure, and you will be changing and upgrading your equipment, while scouring the city for all its valuables. However, the thing you'll be doing the most is speaking to people. I'm not exagerating when I say that at least 60% of the game you'll spend locked in a conversation with someone.

I'm not saying this as a negative though. I love the characters DONTNOD have built and the choices you get to make really put your moral fibre to the test. There is a lot of reading and I'm ok with that. I'm just noting it first and foremost as a caution to everyone - this is a very text-heavy game.

Apart from that the combat system doesn't look too bad. At first you'll feel like the combat system is a bit clunky, but it's not hard to adapt and get used to it. Gives me some Dark Souls vibes only because of the timing aspect. You can't really just mash the attack button and destroy everyone, you have to time your attacks and manage your stamina in battle. That being said it's not as punishng and you can easily get through most encounters without too much trouble.

The story itself is pretty interesting. You wake up as a vampire and don't know who turned you into one, so you go on a mission to track your maker and get some answers. As I mentioned a bit earlier you'll have to make some pretty harsh decisions, much less however if you choose to spare everyone and try to get by only with the EXP you gain through quests.

This leads me to my final point - the difficulty system. The more people you decide to kill, the more extra EXP you get and therefore the easier the game is going to get. From my experience you don't really need to sacrifice anyone since combat doesn't feel too difficult - the quest EXP feels enough. However your opinion may vary and that's why it's nice to have the difficulty system like this. Sometimes in games the Normal difficulty feels too easy and the Hard one feels impossible, so it's nice to be able to adjust it as much as you want.

Overall I would recommend the game. It's a cool third-person vampire game that we don't get too much of. Also the market needs more AA games that try something different for once insted of just repeating the same popular trends - look at all the battle royale games for example. If you enjoy text-heavy games pick this one up, even full price is worth it in my opinion, if not then wait for a sale.

OOOH BOY ! Do I recommend this game ? I couldn't give it enough thumbs up!

This game filled a specific void for me that was a turn based rpg with the option to explore a huge and living world. I've checked out a few other games, but none did it as amazingly as Divinity: Original Sin.

My first playthrough was a solo one and it engrossed me so hard that I pulled an all-nighter. In the morning I didn't regret a thing, since that was the most fun I've ever had! The atmosphere in the game was astounding, the world felt alive and vivid and the combat was the cherry on top. The multitude of ways you could approach each combat scenario and the fact that you could get creative with it in so many ways simply amazed me.

I though that it might lose its charm on the second playthrough, that I did with a friend, but boy was I wrong. Obviously the rock, paper, scissors mechanic worked better with a co-op partner and at the time we didn't care how each decision affected our character. We were playing it for fun. We made so many wrong/bad choices and still came out laughing in the end. After that we started a new game on Honour Mode (which is the game's "ironman" mode) and we took it a little more seriously. One thing I could remark as an inherent flaw (not too bad though) was that the more you level up, the easier the game gets and by the end it's a bit of a cake walk. You just become too powerful! However that's fine if you like the feeling of crushing all your foes with a single spell or whirlwind attack.

So, overall I wholeheartedly recommend this game, but I recommend it even more if you have a friend to play it with, as that experience is even more precious. This game is truly a gem!

I want to start by saying that I've never played RuneScape and have never been interested in the experience it provided, however this didn't deter me from trying this game and it shouldn't put you off as well.

An amazing game that honestly feels like it should have more players than it does. A very intriguing combination between a dungeon-master-like adventure creator and CCG. Every game feels like a different adventure and presents different opportunities for you to demonstrate your strategic abilities. Aquiring currency for packs isn't hard and seems fair, although it might feel otherwise thanks to the bigger numbers involved. This game just feels so unique and fun and if you're a fan of card games you really should give this a go, since it's free.

I've had my fair share of The Binding of Isaac and what I can say for certain is that this easily falls in my favourite games list. At first when you get into the game nothing really makes much sense, items, goals, levels, story - it's all pretty confusing. But after 2-3 hours of playing and after a bit (20-ish) restarts you'll see that everything is well executed with infinte replayability in mind.

Items are the most helpful and most weird aspect of the game, maybe the only thing that can compare to their weirdness is the story. Every item has its own effect on Isaac's stats and his visual appearance. I can guarantee that at the end Isaac will never look human. Items are randomly generated, like the levels, and add tons of variety and make sure that every run you do you'll get a different experience.

The story is something that most people will probably ignore, or will not notice at all, but it is there. The end game cutscenes are the key component and after a few replays you'll get what it's all about and will probably want to find out more, to which I say that you should pick up the DLC for the game. It finishes the story and fills in some missing parts.

The DLC is awesome, since it adds even more variety to the game, but be warned that if you're new to The Binding of Isaac and if you haven't put in a bit over 10 hours don't buy it just yet, because it makes the game a lot harder and might leave you struggling at the starting floors again. But aside from that all the new items and the new trinket system involved really help the game feel even more genuine and diverse.

In conclusion, I'd just like to state again that the game is awesome and well worth the money. It's a good option to have when you want a fun and new experience and only have an hour to spare. When you get into the game it's gonna be hard to put it down. So why wait, start your experience now!

The most fun you can have with friends, it also has a very friendly and light graphic, but it's deffinately a game that you should try. Enjoy ! :)
