best game in the prosthetic swordsman genre this year

Very unique survival / deception game.
Great community, even the people trying to kill you seem nice.

Surprisingly well developed. It is worth buying at full price

I've only been able to play this game for less than 2 hours, but since I discovered I am far from alone in my issues with this game I think it warrants a review.

Pros:
-Great voice acting from all the characters I've met so far.
-The combat felt like it had a lot of potential. Like the witcher 3 but less clunky.
-I was actually interested in the main character and the story, at least for now.
-It looks like a game that came out in 2019, the same year that many indie devs are still making games that could have been released in the 90s.

Cons:
-It plays like a bioware game, except that you cannot tell your party members when to use their abilities. (the combat is still better than bioware games, but this is annoying.)
-It is aesthetically boring (even though it looks great, it is not convincing enough to be immersive.)
-It's expensive. The voice acting is so good that it almost excuses this, but I don't really think indie devs have to price their game like a AAA title. Maybe I'm wrong.
THIS IS THE BIG ONE
-Game crashes constantly. I am aware that some people are able to play this without issue. I am not alone in experiencing crashes every 10 minutes, and on one occasion my saved game disappeared entirely. If this ends up being fixed, I'll probably end up changing my review to a positive, because I can tell the game has great potential for enjoyment. But no acknowledgement from dev and no bug fix patch after nearly a week, so I want to warn anyone considering purchasing this game of the possibility they won't be able to play it. I recommend waiting till these issues are resolved.
