Can our brave character face the crunchy world of retro graphics and fuzzy static to change

I invite you on this surreal adventure that is absolutely reasonably priced and packed to the brim with otherworldly fun!

I am currently between a rock and a hard place writing this review.

On the one hand Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is a genuinely fun and entertaining little game. The playable characters are designed nicely and each fighter has a somewhat unique moveset
which often consists of references to the respectful characters show. The online Matchmaking also works quite smoothly when you play with a good connection.

But nonetheless I sadly can't recommend this game in good faith.

For the hefty price tag of 50 Bucks there simply isn't enough content in this game. The single player mode is lacklustre and due to dwindling player numbers you barely run into other players playing Online anymore. This means that the waiting times between matches have increased tremendously (If you are even lucky enough to match up with someone in your region). For me personally this is really tiresome since I bought this game solely for the online mode.

The developers have shown trough a recent patch that they still care about this game and haven't abandoned it yet.
But only time will tell if they will manage to breathe some new life into this game.


I hope that I can turn this negative review into a positive one in the near future, but in its current state I sadly can't recommend this game.
