I loved the original Black Mirror trilogy, but this 'reboot' feels like something completely different, the charm and magic of original dark and mysterious story is gone. I understand they tried to change the mechanics to make it more suitable for a new generation, but how can something so enjoyable end up as complete rubbish? This game is a big miss.

I have really high hopes for the upcoming Black Mirror (Posel smrti: Pouto krve) from the original creators—not just THQ grabbing nostalgia money from fans.

If this is the only DLC difference between the standard and deluxe editions of the game, don’t bother going for the deluxe edition — it’s a waste of money.

So, I read a few negative reviews. Basically, game is full of stupid and sexist jokes. Well, DUH.

If toilet humour and extremely stupid or sexist jokes make you sick or anxious, maybe you shouldn’t be playing this game in the first place. It’s like complaining about guns in Call of Duty or that there's a ball in EA FC. Come on.

Larry is sexist, old, and full of toilet jokes—some of them land, some don’t—but that’s fine, it's on the edge. If you're a snowflake who can’t understand that humour is subjective and varies from person to person, then don’t play it. What’s weird or offensive to you might be hilarious to someone else.

The game is fun, especially if you grew up on point-and-click adventures like I did. I haven’t finished many of them, but this one kept me curious about what’s next. And yes, there are a few dumb jokes—but that doesn’t mean the whole game is bad. I would probably recommend this more than the sequel.

So, I read a negative review: “Larry is wondering how to 'connect' Fate to the alien machine—it's just disturbing; it made me feel anxious.”
This is such a stupid joke, really. And that’s the point, you moron.

And the guy behind Larry's series
yeah, he’s got nothing to do with this actual game. He's kind of a weirdo. Don’t Google him.

Sorry, I just can’t lie. I’ve spent years hearing people say, ‘This is it—the best RPG ever made.’

But honestly? Nope. For me, Skyrim still takes that title. I’d rather replay Skyrim for the 50th time than give The Witcher another, like 3rd, try. No offence—it’s just not my cup of tea. I always start it full of excitement, but I just never get into it. I’ve never managed to play for more than 15 hours gametime before losing interest.

Dead Island 2 has small, linear locations, with strictly scripted maps where you can go. Doors only unlock after you finish the previous area — even if you try them earlier, they’re locked. And I mean, this is ridiculous. You explore a building where, out of four doors, three are locked, and you can only unlock them right after a cutscene from the first door. It doesn’t even make sense, really lazy game design.

I would probably understand this design in the original Dead Island back in 2011, but maaaaan. The first DI had an open, beautiful world with free exploration and no scripted hand-holding, where I feel like a baby who doesn't have any option to chose where to go or what to do. I’ll finish this one just because I love the idea of a zombie apocalypse in Hollywood, but if someone asked me, I’d recommend the first game. And yeah, the positive comments are understandable — this game get through a lot of ♄♄♄♄. But we shouldn’t close our eyes to its problems just out of nostalgia. I loved that E3 trailer too...

EDIT: I said I’d finish this game, but after about 30% it just got sooo boring and repetitive. With so many great games out there, it’s not even worth turning it back on. Such a shame and waste of money.

Nice intro, but I guess this isn’t what’s taking up 150 GB out of the 160 GB used by this launcher. If you want to actually play, they ask you to download another 130 GB for the game itself. I don’t really care — I have fast internet and a good SSD — but the PRINCIPLE! It still feels really weird to download 160gb for nothing. :D
