Heavily recommend for any Warhammer 40k fans absolutely and just generally as a fighting/shooting/action game in a sci-fi setting.

Pros:

Incredible environments and cinematic singleplayer
Co-op campaign which is decently long (10-15 hours depends)
Co-op PvE mode with 6 unique missions, classes and unlocks with increased difficulties keep up with replay value.
Limited PvP mode with only 3 maps.
Online modes have 6 unique classes to choose from.

Cons:

Melee combat can feel very clunky at times.
Some QoL features missing (No widescreen - will come in the future, no way to switch perspectives, annoying screens to customise stuff, having to unlock even basic colours).
No armour customisation for Chaos Marines.
PvP mode is massively lacking, only 3 maps and 3 game modes. Balance seems a bit off and map design, spawns etc. need work. I would argue this is the main thing that has actually gone backwards since the first game.
Some reports of minor issues, I myself have only had some small stuttering issues and only 2 crashes, this might vary with systems.


Overall I'd say Space Marine 2 massively builds on what the first game did right, gives more content and creates a great co-op experience best enjoyed with friends. Most of the issues I have with the game could easily be ironed out over the course of their roadmap. 8/10.
