If you are looking for a great singleplayer experience, you can ignore this review. You're getting what you pay for there.

If on the other hand you're looking to play GTA Online I cannot recommend the game anymore. It's fun in theory but the way Rockstar handles stuff is just awful. Not only are they completely helpless with the cheater situation in the game but their attempts to stop them actually hit legit players as well.

At this point i'm recommending only because FiveM exists which is an external program which allows you to play on different servers with different gamemodes.For example roleplay and drift servers.

So many hours of relaxing with this game. Listening to podcasts and driving. Super relaxing. And I can stop whenever I want...but usually it's "ok, just one more delivery".

Good and relaxing game to play

+ Complex enough to not be a joke of a game
+ Simplified enough to be fun to play
+ A decent line-up of cars
+ Multiple ways to discover damaged parts
+ You can choose between jobs and decline them
+ You can buy cars from auctions and then try to restore them
+ You can change up the look of your garage

- Extremely long loading times
- Very basic car interiors you can't do anything with
- Weird car physics during testing

After some time it gets boring

This game has it all:

- Fluid combat.
- Very well-made, interesting, characters.
- Intuitive and easy menu.
- Cool maps.
- Awesome animations
- Fun to play

5. Oh its 5am already.

And it's still better than Fortnite ;)

I'll start this review by saying that I have NO idea of all the controversy surrounding the game, its crowdfunding campaign, etc. I saw it, thought it seemed like a cool game, and bought it on sale. So I've walked into this game completely blind.

Effectively, Battalion 1944 aims to replicate the experience of the classic Call of Duty games (CoD 2, CoD4/Promod). From a gameplay perspective, it does this incredibly well - it plays like a better Call of Duty than the present-day Call of Duty games. I love the gunplay, it feels excellent, works very well and the map design is overall pretty good.

Other than that, not much else to say. I've had a lot of fun with the game so far and my first play session was great. All I can say is that the game still feels a bit unfinished and like it's in beta. It's a bit rough around the edges, there's still a lot of tuning to be done, glitches to be sorted out and better art assets to be integrated. But for what it's worth, Battalion 1944 is a great game so far and I hope the team keep it on the right track.
