The gameplay loop is phenomenal, especially if you like co-op experiences. Missions don't feel like they drag on, and side objectives and optional areas are rewarding enough to make you go out of your way to do them.
The mechanics are great, as you have to micromanage your resources in missions, and make sure no ammo is wasted when you reload. Calling in stratagems is extremely satisfying, as you punch in codes, and eventually you start to memorize the more common and useful ones, such as requesting backup. Even the shooting is satisfying, as you can see your recoil when aiming in third person.
The dynamics the game creates are fantastic. I highly recommend playing with friends, as each player can have a separate role in missions, with varying armor tiers, different stratagems, and multiple weapons to make each play style unique and valid.
Last but not least the aesthetic is amazing. Being a soldier for the Super Earth democracy is such a cool and funny concept, and they use world building techniques to really make the game world feel alive. Hearing npc’s speak about the democracy is hilarious at times, and listening in on the ship’s television adds tremendously to the experience.
TL:DR, HellDivers 2 is a 10/10 game that hits a home-run in every category.

I tried. I really tried. But the game just never started, It kept saying "Something isn't working quite right... Unable to contact Steam to authenticate user infomation! Steam web service not responding. Please wait a moment and try again." I just tried again and again, FOR 1.2 HOURS. I heard so many good reviews from my friends, but I'm the unlucky one that can't even play the game. When I can bloody start up the game, that's when I will recommend this game, but until then, 10/10 would see the same thing for 1 hour.

I love this game. It's a great game and seems like it would get boring, but it just is so good. Just try to survive the queue.
