God this game is absolutely endearing. I love almost everything about it, and it's shining moments shine quite bright inn my opinion

I'd strongly recommend it, top 3 sonic imo

As much as I wanted to enjoy this game, the game unfortunately has quite
a lot of jank moments that inadvertently kill you or your flow, the game just does not feel right to play. The controls are just a bit too rough for me to really recommend playing it, though I suppose that those and the physics can be modded to be better

Whilst this addon does add a bit of cool stuff, like The Apollyon and Forgotten, a few really neat items, and mod support...

A ton of cruddy stuff is added as well.
An RNG-dependant final boss, a load of nothingburger items, some of THE worst challenges in the game, and Greedier is an absolutely repugnant gamemode.
I can absolutely see why this is regarded as the weakest expansion.

It's best paired with Repentance and a few mods to make the AB+ content sting a little less.
